I never leave reviews. But I was surprised at how quick and easy it was to reserve and receive a rental from here. Everything was done the same day and the staff at that location were very helpful. I needed to extend my rental reservation mid week, and the online process was simple and easy. My car was a hybrid, so did extremely well on gas (I drove out of state) and the price for the week was very affordable (much less than Enterprise and other car rental providers I used in the past). Overall satisfied with my experience.

Filthy cars and pay careful attention if you rent from here - the garage is dark and they will try to pawn off a damaged vehicle on you! The first car they assigned me was had front end damage and didn’t look like it has been cleaned. It then took me over an hour to exchange that car only to be a assigned a car that was filthy. Food on the console and in the cup holders, leaves and trash in the floor, nasty seats, etc. over an hour later I finally had a clean and undamaged rental. Terrible customer service for the most part except for Omar and Lauren so we’re helpful and got me into the third car after all of the back and forth.

What a disappointing experience. I paid an additional fee for a Jeep Wrangler, wish I hadn’t. The car arrived with extensive damage to the exterior and a filthy interior. I’ve never been so disappointed in service & overall professionalism.

I wish I could give this place and this company a 0. A family member of mine rented a car from this place. 15 days after returning the car this person got charged $250. No receipt or email. I called Budget from VA airport, their number doesn’t work. Called costumer service and they told me that it was the down payment and the money will be returned back. This makes no sense because it was 15 days after my family member has returned the car. A couple days later I call again to see what they would tell me and said that it was a cleaning fee. WHAT?!?! This family member is a clean freak and has integrity, would never leave a trash/dirt on a car rental. Costumer service told me they were sending pictures via email. THE MOST SKETCHY AND BLURRY pictures I’ve ever seen in my life. My family member said they never left it like that and they are trying to charge them for NOTHING. We called again one more time and explained in a respectful manner that the “dirty car” never happened. They said they’ll refund us so we shall see. NEVER AGAIN BUDGET!!!!!!!!

Terrible experience from start to finish! The first car I received at the Washington DC airport had the "Service Due Now" notification on the dashboard, smelled funky inside, and all of the surfaces in the car were sticky. When I asked about the car, the attendant said, "Oh, this car should have gone to the service bay." After waiting an additional 30+ minutes at the counter, I finally received a second car, only to find that it also had the "Service Due Now" notification on the dashboard. I didn't want to wait any longer so I accepted this car because at least it didn't smell bad inside. When it came time to drop off the car at the Philadelphia airport, I thought everything was good. I dropped off my car 2 hours before my flight, was in the air for around 1 hour, and then arrived at my second destination: Detroit. I headed to the car rental counter and they said they couldn't rent a car to me because my previous car had not been turned in. I tried for 2 hours to call someone at the Budget headquarters AND the Philadelphia counter with no luck. I finally gave up on a 2nd car rental and spent the remaining part of my trip jumping from Uber to Uber. I am never coming back to Budget or any car company that is affiliated with them.

I can’t blame them. They have hundreds of cars in/out daily at this location, but please don’t leave me hanging on a car seat. Oddly enough, I thought about bringing my car seat from home but it really was an inconvenience to do so. I think I foolishly assumed that by prepaying the odds of not getting a car seat were significantly lowered. I was inconvenienced either way. I would have appreciated the courtesy of not having my sale completed (cc swiped) before telling me there was no seat available. But that wasn’t the end of the bad experience. I was given a car without seatbelts in the backseat. I’m not making this up. I had 2 Budget agents check it out because I did not think it was possible. But anything is possible. The nice lady helping me in the car lot quickly switched me out and had me on my way to find a car seat of course. Good luck!

Do not rent from here! I made a reservation days in advance. It took 1 1/2 hours waiting in line to pick up a car, then was given a vehicle that had exterior damage, the volume did not work on the sound system and the car was not clean. Basically they gave us a beater. I called to let them know I was having issues with the car and that was a pain too. Waiting on hold forever when I had more important things to do is ridiculous. Returned the car a day early and 3 weeks later I get a $250 bill for a “soiled car” This is a joke. My daughter and I did not make this car any dirtier than it was when we picked it up, if anything it was cleaner after us. We threw away someone else’s garbage that was left in it. I have never been charged for a dirty car. They are not cleaning the cars before renting them and then charging customers as if they are cleaning them!! Avis and budget are the same so avoid both!!

The Budget staff and team were super friendly, accommodating, and understanding. I typically and exclusively (and formerly) rent with Enterprise. When my flight got canceled, the manager at enterprise had no interest in helping me out with a one way rental even though I had just rented from them and returned my car a few hours earlier. The price of my Budget rental was similar to what I would expect to pay at enterprise. Very thankful for this team and their flexibility.

One plus good car Minuses 1) The employees were mildly condescending. I am hard of hearing and with masks struggled to hear the lady at the counter. their entire attitude was that by being a customer you are automatically by your existence annoying them. I understand customer service is hard, but I try really really hard to be as nice as possible and when in return I get an employee who makes it very clear that even my presence annoys them it’s just extremely disappointing 2) who the hell packs their cars like this??

Told us we had to wait 1 hour for our car… even though we made our reservation months ago and were on time (not early). We were upset, and so was our jet lagged fussy toddler. Explained that any other rental car company would offer us ANY available car, but told us “only the luxury cars are available and you have to pay extra for those”. Too late to cancel now even if we wanted. Budget: why offer us this reservation time in the first place if a car wouldn’t be ready??? You have terrible customer service. Avoid avoid avoid!!!!
