I frequent this location every 3 weeks for haircuts. Today I walked asking 2 stylists: I’d like a neck trim between 2 hair cuts. IS NECK TRIM FREE for frequent customers? Both said yes. After the neck trim, they want to charge me $5. The 3rd stylist came out saying: it was free before pandemic. I’m ok with that reason and I’m happy to pay $5 for 60 seconds of neck trim if that’s the new rule after pandemic. I already have my credit card inserted in the POS machine. Now the manager came out telling me: Neck trim always costed $5 for the last 12 years since he started with Great Clips. Thank you, Mr Smart for pointing out I can’t remember anything and may be born yesterday. You win the argument on my way out besides the $5. Congratulations!

Location is always clean and the staff are all friendly. The wait times are quick. There are also occasional coupons which is always a plus. Young has been cutting my hair for years and is awesome at it. Always able to cut any hairstyle I decide to try and show me how to style it. Service: Haircut

I went in yesterday for a haircut. I was very dissatisfied with the results. I went in mostly to get my ends trimmed, the stylist cut too much length off, left a lot of dead ends (which was my main reason for going) and gave me strange looking layers. I called today to complain about the service, they allowed me to come back to get it re-done. I go back, I get assigned to a different stylist, she fixes some of what the other hairstylist ruined. Her layers look a little better, but they still look odd. They are cut at a weird angle still and she also left a little dead end at the bottom that should have come off. I did not notice until I was home and my hair finally dried. They do not even blow dry your hair after. When I was in there, there was a woman yelling at another employee saying they shaved too much off of their family member’s scalp. The only proper thing they did was letting me come back to “fix” the damage they did, but it still looks like a mess and now I need to grow it out for a few months before going elsewhere. Complete waste of time and $21. Please go elsewhere. Service: Haircut

Horrible haircut, probably the worst I've had. I was adamant about not wanting an asymmetrical cut and the stylist styled my hair after she was finished so I didn't see how bad it was right off. The right side is so much shorter than the left. The right side also has a weird U-shape along the ends because even that one side couldn't be cut to the same length. Not only that but because I usually wear my hair fairly short there is hardly enough room to fix it without just taking 8 guard clippers to the entire thing to actually make it all the same length. And that's probably the solution I will take to another salon. I showed her how much to take off when I sat down and described what I wanted adamantly so there really isn't an excuse to be made. Would not recommend going to this salon and I certainly will never be going back

I haven’t found a good barber since moving to the Maryland northern Virginia area. The lady at this Great Clips was nice, and the haircut was good but it wasn’t as good as I used to get it done. The issue lies mostly with me as I don’t like to nitpick their cut unless it is really off. I will say that this was a better job than my last hair cut at another establishment.
