I thought this place was reputable but I later found out they are scamming and overcharging their customers for services that are not needed. They tell you multiple times to bring samples that are not needed and the doctors visits and surgeries are twice the price from other vets for same services. I brought my Kitten there multiple times for stool samples for the same issue, Guardia, I was later told by another doctor that Gaurdia symptoms stay possitive in kittens til they are adult, so Falls Church Animal Hospital kept charging me for medicine that the Kitten did not need, and the kept charging me over and over for stool sample tests

Such a great vet! My dog is quite difficult but they were very accommodating to his special needs and made him as comfortable as possible. It feels like a place where they really care about your animal and aren’t just taking your money. Excited to go back soon and so thankful to have found them!

We have been going to FCAH for about the last 12 years with 6 different dogs. The staff is terrific. In particular, Naomi Wheeler stands out. She is compassionate, communicative and effective. Naomi is always willing to "go the extra mile". Naomi is one reason that we have been such loyal clients/patients over the years. Naomi, thank you for always paying attention to the details!

We were told that the first visit for our animals would be free, instead of new clients are free. When we got there, they said that the receptionist was new and insisted that we had to pay the full price - like that was our fault. On top of that, the doctor never finished the exam of our pets. They failed to provide a rabies certificate/tag, and also would not provide the dosing for some medicines, or measure a lump on my dog like the doctor said he would do. So what are they doing charging $88/dog for if they cannot meet their end? On a separate occasion, my service dog had to be euthanized and they put the catheter in wrong, hurting the dog more, and having to perform the procedure twice. They never even apologized. When comparing prices to other vets in the area, even the simplest of vaccines and pet visit fees are 3x the cost. There are much better places to go that don’t gouge their prices for no good reason.

They have always taken excellent care of my golden retriever puppy- we’ve seen drs. Harrington, Yam, and Jacobs and they have always been thorough with exams/explanations for treatment. The staff (vet techs, dental) are all fantastic, as well!

I came to this place as first time client they offered complimentary exam my cat had decreased appetite or wanting his regular prescribed food, he was on a special thyroid diet I wanted to check his thyroid levels and see what was causing him to lose his appetite when I got here they told me he's just being picky and Dr Hines dint think he needed a blood test and brushed it aside and instead gave him a rabies vaccine, I initially didn't want to give him a vaccine when hes already sick and has no appetite but I feel this was forced on me and the next day my cat was lethargic and would not eat and started throwing up. I took him to the emergency room and they could not believe they didn't run blood test when I requested them at the Vet in Falls church. My cat had high liver values and was yellow with jaundice, he started on steroids and antibiotics but in the end there was nothing they could do , I had to say goodbye to my best friend of 17 years this past Sunday. I regret bringing him here and being rushed through the appointment. they didn't treat my baby boy seriously only made him more sick. I was not happy with the way they rushed me through the appointment and gave him the shot so fast.

The adoption agreement compeled me to spay the puppy before her 6-month of age and many vet clinics have policy that only spay dogs after 6 months. FCAH took me in, did an initial checkup, and scheduled a spay operation. Whole process was smooth. They are expensive compare to other, nearby vets. Lost one star because they only sent me the operation estimate the night before the operation, giving me an impression that they want to lock me in. Lost a second star because the ineffective discharge process, which took me about 40 mins from arriving at the hospital, to actually took the puppy home.

The Falls Church Animal Hospital is very easy to work with; I was a first time customer, but I was able to get my cat in to see a vet fairly quickly. She had an ear infection that was treated and also had her yearly checkup at the same time. And, because she was a first time patient, the annual checkup was free (which was a very pleasant surprise!). The vet, along with the vet tech, explained what had taken place and what to look out for in case the treatment didn’t take; happily, she is doing extremely well now with no issues and just as cuddly as usual. I highly suggest this establishment for your pets; you won’t be disappointed!

Our 8 week old Golden Retriever was home for just a couple of days when he developed a rash and was itching, scratching, chewing on himself. We knew we needed to have him seen right away. I called more than a dozen vet facilities to have him seen and everyone was booked out for several weeks. The kind staff at Falls Church Animal Hospital offered to see him the next day for his skin condition as well as provide his first exam and next round of vaccinations. We were sent home with clear instructions and proper medications and are pleased to say that he was symptom free a few days later. The professionalism of the entire staff was over the top. The FCAH has earned our continued business and trust to treat our boy Winston.

I have been taking my pets (2 cats and 2 dogs) to Falls Church Animal Hospital since 1998. All the vets and techs are first rate - friendly, competent, and caring. The front desk staff is amazing. Everyone is so concerned and tender with my senior dogs. I appreciate the efficiency of the office procedures. Thanks for everything!
