Worst customer service ever. It's been more than 3 months for them to close my checking account(still open). I went to Springfield branchback in June 2022 and asked them to close my account, they made me sign a paper and confirmed that my account has been closed. A month later when I had to pay for my credit card, I realized the account was never closed and they were charging maintenance fee. Called the customer service number multiple times for two months and they were going back and forth about how a recurring charge re-opened the account and they will take care of it tomorrow( tomorrow never came). Today I Went to a closer location to my house on Linconia Alexandria, the manager asked me to go back to the same branch where I closed my account. I Went to the same branch the manager (Steve) was on leave for next two weeks so they referred me to another branch located in Old Knee Mil rd, Springfield. Rude manager (Gary) who wanted to act professional but couldn't hold back his temper. Fun fact, apart from not accepting their fault the manager was first blaming me that I was responsible ( "as a consumer you were responsible to keep checking on a closed account") which maybe made sense to him. And after going back and forth he made it clear it was not his fault, the issue started in a different branch and he is not part of it so he can't do anything(making it sound like, I was asking a BOFA manager help me with Truist or any other bank transaction). I will copy and paste this review in all 3 locations and hope customers will see and make the same mistake that I made( never open a bank account with BOFA) they are all nice until you are going to close your account.

wooow what a place the attention they give three to four hours to be able to serve you is not useful I still think it's too much you have to lose half a day of work I don't know why they have never improved in customer service it's super lousy😡

A few months ago I needed to get a certain letter from the bank for my husband & I loan officer; before we got our house. It was early Saturday afternoon and the bank was very busy, the line was outside. The gentleman at the front was helpful and I left out with a printout but I ended up going right back in once I noticed what he printed out for me would not work. So I was then helped by the Relationship Business Manger- Danilo. He was very helpful, friendly, professional and he was able to get the document I needed!

4/2020 I had to come back here because all the other branches in the area are closed. You would think that then they would have more than 2 tellers when the line is out the door and around the building. And no matter what bank of America puts out they are not making all staff wear masks. They will push you to together with other customers so they can move around freely and stay away from customers which is absurd. I will be reporting them to the health department. ...service continues to get worse having to find another Branch for service. They can't even make change without you having to wait in another line for a different teller and this happens frequently. For business deposits they are horrible, takes forever, regularly can't make change. They only ever have one cashier open while the managers and rest of the staff walk around saying use the new ATM teller assist. It's ridiculous!

I was in a rush and tried to withdraw money from my savings at the teller and explicitly said "I'd like to withdraw from my savings account" to which the teller repeated, "savings, correct?" I answered "yes, savings" So I presumed that she had chosen the savings account to withdraw from only for me to find that my checking account was in the negatives when I arrived at home WITH an overdraft fee no less. Please train your associates better so that incidents like these don't happen in the future. Seems fitting the Google review of this branch is at 2.1 stars at the time of writing.

Great customer service from start to finish. This location provides all services and get you in and out quickly - if it's not Friday afternoon. The amenities include wire transfers, creation of new checking and savings accounts as well as support regarding check cashing if needed. This location also has very knowledgeable staff who can assist with troubleshooting such questions such as creation of 401k, home equity lines of credit, and investments in stocks or mutual funds. I wouldn't hesitate to stop if I needed help with my banking needs.

Today is April 11 exactly 2:50 pm went in to this branch, there is a line of 10 people waiting and there is only one teller that he takes for ever to do something so simple as to cash a check. I'm in line already for 20 minutes and there is still 6 people in front of me. This is one of the busiest branch and to have only one teller not good customer service at all.

While I agree with most of the reviews here about long wait at teller line I am mostly basing my review on the drive thru ATM. I stopped going to the teller lines because it is horrible in there. The wait time is a killer. The drive thru ATM fortunately is efficient and got surprised it spat out $50 bills. That's nice! The drive thru teller window for me was ok but I really avoid going to tellers because of the time it takes to get service. Just like other people said here suck it up and wait for your turn or just figure out a different solution.

the teller called me to come to her booth and asked what I needed. Then made me wait so she could finish something she was doing. Completely rude. Then! They said the wouldn't give me a cashiers check because all I have with them is a credit card.... That's absolutely stupid!!!
