I flew in from out of state for business and the airline lost my luggage. I came here to get some essentials and was wondering the racks/aisles and feeling so overwhelmed I was about to leave and live in what I had - Mary from the Fitting dept came to my aid! She was so fabulous in helping me recreate the list of items I needed to replace and then find them! I don't know what I would have done without her today. I asked for a manager to offer a compliment for her but they couldn't be found at the moment I was there. Thank you Mary!! I looked like a million bucks at my sales meeting today in VA!

She not only remedied the situation by getting my order sorted out but compensated me for my troubles. I think this is worth mentioning. This Nordstrom Rack is always understaffed and poorly managed. I was in line to pay for at least 10min which is understandable with a busy weekend. They had three cashiers but one of them walked away to help a customer and then brought this customer back and her friend to make two separate transactions without regard of the customers that had been in line for a while waiting to pay. This is not okay. Cashier’s should not be allowed to bring customers up to the counter regardless if they are their personal friends or family. Nordstrom Rack needs to bring back when card holders were able to pay anywhere in the store to alleviate the waiting time. 5/8/22 at 5:15pm

Easy access, good finds, good prices. The staff has always been well trained on the registers which means any long lines is due to difficult customers. the store is well kept.

This store is located in the mall with it's own exterior entrance which is nice but having to find parking space can be challenging. The other one in Dulles area near the Dulles Town Center is in a shopping center which is better, in terms of parking. This store is seems smaller than Dulles one. The young ladies at the registers were so nice and helpful. I really appreciate the customer service since it seems to be packing at so many places. I came in to return a pair of shoes I got online. They were able to quickly looked up by the order number, and credit the amount back to my credit card. Such a fast, simple and pleasant process. Thanks!!

I was going on vacation in a week or so and I had thrown away a backpack and donated another. The only backpack I had left was my work backpack which i was not going to take. I also wanted slide and or flops that weren't made from animal skin, and that didnt soak up and hold water. The way the store is set up, it is extremely easy to find whatever you need. Shoes, shirts, jackets, ties, bags, packs, etc. are all in their individual sections. It's awesome.

Make up section had loads of damaged boxed/packaged items. I would suggest they have a "tester" item so that customers don't open the new products. Loads of great brands for a reasonable price though
