I brought my car in for a brake inspection because I heard my brakes squealing. I asked for them to be looked at, assuming I would be told they needed replacing. Instead, I was told the brakes were fine and it was in fact my wheel bearings that were old and my suspension that needed replacing. I reluctantly agreed to have the wheel bearings replaced for over $1000, as I felt the suspension would have other more telling signs if it needed replacing, and I really needed the squealing to stop. Following this, the squealing sound continued and nothing was resolved. A few months later when I finally had time to go to another independent mechanic, they told me that my brakes were in fact ready to be replaced, and they quoted me a very reasonable price that was cheaper than the bearings. The squealing sound immediately resolved. While I understand the wheel bearings may indeed have needed to be replaced soon, I find it immoral and potentially illegal to have told me the brakes were fine and to instead suggest replacing the bearings. Again, I am not sure my experience here was even legal. There could be serious consequences to telling customers their brakes are fine when they are in fact completely worn out, and then pushing them to replace a more expensive part of the vehicle. I strongly feel this should be addressed for myself, and for future customers. I'm not sure if it was the individual employee or the way the entire operation is run at this branch, but this is unacceptable.

I’ve been coming to this Midas for 16 years and have never had to worry or question the service I’ve received on any of my vehicles. I’ve recently had to get a part on my car that was back ordered and Ryan was wonderful in assisting me with getting the part and making sure the work was done efficiently and correct. Would definitely recommend this shop to anyone!

I am pretty disappointed. I have been bringing my cars here for years. In the past I was treated fairly and respectfully which can be difficult to find as a woman looking for auto care. But today when I was told I needed hundreds of dollars I took it to the dealership for a second opinion. The dealership inspected and told me everything was in great shape and zero repairs needed. Not cool. I will not be back. Services: Tire rotations, Brakes, Oil change

I was in need of an oil change. A couple of places were booked 3-5 days out. I was about to pass Midas, but decided to see if they had time to change my oil. They did and I only waited 15-20 minutes before it was completed. They also reset the maintenance needed warning messages which had previously displayed. So things don't go as planned. I made an appointment for 1pm on a Friday for 2 new tires. I had a flat, and as is common with newer cars, no spare. My plan was to take the rim off, take that in, change one tire, take it home, put it back on the car, then take the car back for the other tire. Well 1 stripped lugnut later plans changed. Had to have the car towed. Didn't get the car there until 4pm. They close at 5. When I got there at 4:15 the car was all already in the shop on the lift. I left the shop before 5 with my 2 new tires. They really went above and beyond to get the job done! I can't recommend them enough!

I brought my car in after making an online appointment with Midas. I made the appointment for a battery check & oil change. The battery needed to be replaced, & they called to confirm that I was ok with the price before they went ahead & changed it out. The whole process took about an hour! ONLY an HOUR!! Their prices are reasonable, & Jared, who was manning the customer service area was super nice! I would HIGHLY recommend this place for anyone looking to have repairs done or a good look over at their car. Services: Battery, Oil change

Phil and Derek were so good to me! I knew I had alot of problems with my van. I assumed with the many problems on my van, it would be in the shop all weekend but the mechanics did amazing and was able to finish my car by closing time. Derek was awesome as far as trying his best to save me money and has amazing customer service skills. Phil and Josh worked on my car and did a great job. Phil pulled me into the garage a couple times to show me and explain to me what was happening with my van. I was also given a ride home as I didnt care to sit in the shop all day even if I would have had a great time due to their amazing customer service. I couldn't ask for better care and customer service. I will be a long term customer forsure. Thank you gentlemen even if I can't thank you enough. I went to Midas on 2/1/22 for an oil change special and to inspect my exhaust. I had a sound start to develop for about a year. After the service and inspection of the exhaust, I was told by Mr D. Wilson (the sales person on the receipt) my vehicle needed a muffler and a pipe leading to the resonator. The cost estimate total (incl oil change) was over $580.00. I declined because I had an lifetime warranty for the muffler @ Wisconsin Muffler. I went to Wisc Muffler the next day. In <30 minutes the problem was fixed and the sales person told me a weld started to open and I wasn't charged. My suggestion is to "BEWARE" of the estimates here and get a SECOND estimate. The muffler still looked new and the point of the weld crack was obvious. I guess con (ripoff) artist are still out there. I'm glad we can write reviews to warn others of bad practices of businesses. I scoured the city looking for a same day oil change and the Brookfield location was able to get me in on the same day. The service was fast and the guy at the counter found me a coupon so I got $20 off the oil change, perfect!
