Should have wrote this review sooner. We bought a 2007 Ford focus wagon. We had some issues right after we bought it. Bob could have said too bad but he worked with us. He was fair and honest. That's a rare quality from a used car cpany. I will definitely be buying my next car from him!! Can't recommend him enough.

I have driven to this dealership 4 times now within “businesses hours” and the place is always closed. I have called, email, and texted and never gotten a response back. Not sure how you run a business that way let alone sell any vehicles.

Just bought a car from Bob at 151 Emporium. Very good experience dealing with Bob. His cars are all top notch cars that he sells. We feel he is very honest to deal with. There was no pressure. We'll certainly come back again.

My dad and I went here to buy a Chevy Malibu from this guy in August 2019 and it was a very bad experience. He allowed us to take the car for a test drive and go to my uncles house, who is a mechanic, to look over the car. My uncle went under it and felt around and felt that the front passenger side tie rod had a little play in it. My dad and I told this guy that, and he was almost yelling at us and arguing with us saying there is no way to feel that unless you lifted the car. He also watched us pull the car back onto the lot after the test drive and saw the driver side headlight was out and didn’t say anything to us. My dad noticed it when I was following him in the car after we purchased it and drove off the lot. He also would not negociate price what so ever. He promised us that he looks over all of the cars he sells to make sure everything was okay and if it was going to go bad in a little while that he would fix it before he sold it. He apparently does not do a very good job doing that because 2 months later, my check engine light comes on and it’s going to cost me a little under $600 to fix it. I bought the car with 76,652 miles on it, and it now has 78,354. So I haven’t even put 2,000 miles on it since I bought it. Not to mention, the cup holders inside the car were taken out so I had to buy new ones, and the handles and most to all of the plastic parts inside the car were sticky for some reason. So needless to say, this guy is very unprofessional and impolite. I would not recommend anyone buy a car from this guy.

I bought my first car here and know the owner through a friend. He does good work and looks over every car. All of the 1 star reviews are just people that either have no mechanical knowledge or expect infinite longevity from a used car.

I ended up buying what i thought was a good truck . found out most of the vehicals are bought from auction . My problem is I have payments on my new truck that doesnt run. I knew the brakes and wheel bearings needed replacing 2 of them he said he replaced he never did didnt care , now the dash went out anti theft isnt working motor wont crank ignition switch problems and thermostat housing leaks bad . the window sticker said everything was checked and good . This small dealer has a 30 day warranty and now he doesnt return phone calls it looks like im going to have to take legal action . A reminder to the next customer here he covers his time not parts one way to not fix what he buys .

Bought a 2005 Ford Escape. Guy made a point of showing me the new rear shocks he put on. Forgot to mention that he sprayed a 1/2" of undercoat in the wheel well to completely cover up the fact that it was rusted through. Thanks for selling me a vehicle that was not only UNSAFE to drive but smiling the whole time you did it! I am making sure that I tell everyone I know what a crappy person you are.

I have know Bob for nearly 16 years and have bought at least 5 vehicles from him in that time. I use him for all of my vehicle maint & repairs, he is one of the most honest & reasonable mechanics around the area.

I bought a car from here about a year and a half ago and about a month after taking my car off the lot it needed repairs. Keep in mind I only spent 2 grand on the car so I wasn't expecting an amazing car but I just needed a car to get me by for a couple years until I bought a new car. After taking my car to a shop for a simple oil change they told me that the wrong tires were on my car, wrong spark plugs were in my car and put in incorrectly, the brakes were the wrong ones for my car and put on wrong ,and a wheel bearing was changed but only on one side leaving them wearing unevenly. When i bought the car the guy said all these things he did himself in the shop and they should be good for a long time. I needed all of these things replaced because so many things were done incorrectly. Now like i said I only spent 2000 dollars on the car so I wasnt expecting it to be problem free but to say that these things were fixed recently and should be good for a long time and I find out that they were all done wrong makes me fee jipped. I will never be going here again. I guess its my fault i didnt have it checked out right away but i was in dire need of a car and since i was told everything was all updated and fixed that i wouldnt have to worry about it until its next oil change. Learned my lesson I suppose but I still say this place is crap and you shouldnt go there unless you are looking for a POS car that will only last a year tops.
