I'm here pretty much everyday and call me bias but I like it.

i called in a prescription refill and the automated system told me i could pick it up the next day. when i went to pick it up the man at the pharmacy told me he couldn’t refill it since it’s a controlled substance, and i was given a 90 day supply and it had only been about 60. i was definitely out, and i know almost for a fact i didn’t lose or accidentally double up on around 30 decently sized pills, so obviously they didn’t give me 90 (which is frustrating since i payed full price for 2/3 of the medication). i wasn’t expecting them to just give it to me anyways, but i do expect 1) an apology or even an acknowledgment that it could possibly be their fault, as opposed to the blank stare i got instead and 2) for them to fill it right in the first place. of course this happened on a saturday, so i wasn’t able to get a hold of my doctor until monday or get my prescription until tuesday, which makes 4 days of headaches and insomnia that could’ve been easily prevented if they just gave me the right amount right off the bat.

Edit: Do not fill prescriptions here. They do not care if you need them to live. I have been coming here for years. I work next door and it's convenient. I'm sad they are not 24 hours anymore. That's a big reason why I picked this location. It will be hard on me but I will still come. I get all of my prescriptions auto filled here. Pharmacy staff is great to me. I'm a regular and they are getting to know me which I appreciate. Love this location. I come pretty much daily.

Here right now. *The pharmacy tech complained about my doctor “just sending it over” even though they had time to fill it. Is she trying to make me trust my doctor less? Why did I need to know this? *Then she quoted me a price over $500 without asking for my insurance first. Don’t I pay for health insurance so I don’t have to stress $500 pharmacy bills? *Finally, despite giving me all of this extra unnecessary and stressful info, she failed to realize that my address is hundreds of miles away and doesn’t match my wife’s local address (where she copied the insurance info from). So now I have prescriptions with an address that I haven’t lived at for over 5 years. I managed restaurants before Covid. Maybe my standards are too high. But a little consideration would go a long way here.

Unbearably slow service. Sometimes it can take nearly 10 minutes to check out when it isnt even busy. This place has caused me to miss the bus at the transfer point across the street many times when I come in the store with plenty of time to spare before the bus leaves. (or so I thought) Do not come here if you're in a hurry.

We always go here for our prescriptions and occasionally pick up a thing or two. The pharmacy staff is quick and efficient. They don't smile a lot or make small talk, but they're not rude either, and they get me out the door ASAP, which is exactly what I want. I like this location.

I bought some food, and took a photo here. The service is great, and both staff at the counter and photo place are very friendly and nice! My photo is ready within 10 minutes, and the parking is convenient. Actually I hesitated to come here after reading the reviews, but what I exprienced is almost the opposite. I am very glad that I gave it a shot. It's very rare of me writing reviews, but I just want to share my experiences.

Normally Walgreens is a great company, but this location is absolutely horrendous. I suffer from chronic pain and I was recently in a car accident. My doctor gave me a script to fill and since I no longer have a car I had to take a bus. This location was closest to the west transfer point, but they refused to fill my script. They said it was their policy not to fill it and wouldn't fill it for at least 3 days. Everyone at this location was very rude to me and because of the type of script it was I was treated like a criminal. I ended up having to take a taxi to the other side of town to the location I normally go to. So not only am I in pain from the bus trip after my car accident, but I am also out a bunch of money I didn't have for a taxi. Horrible location, horribly rude and entitled staff.

This is my second visit to this location during "grave shift hours." I'll start off with my experience during my second visit: my boyfriend and I are coolly welcomed in the store but I just brush it off and continue to the cosmetics section while my hubby stands in line to purchase ciagrettes. I'm slow to look for the perfect shade I want to exchange (with the one I'm returning) and I ask the older gentleman behind the counter if he had any cotton swabs that I could use to test the lipstick and instead of offering me outstanding customer service he gave me a very cold look and flat out said, "No." I repeated my question, "You really don't have any?" And he just said, "No." Equally gruff. Okay. I walk back to where I was oogling the merchandise and just dab the colours on my wrist. I spend about 5-10 minutes debating what color suits my darker complexion and I head over to the counter where he was waiting for me and asks, "Finally figured out what you want?" Probably not in those exact words I heard, but that is what I inferred from his question. I've dealt with situations like this in the past, working in retail myself I understand his view point, I just shrug off his comment and say, "Yup!" cheerfully. I mention to him that I would like to return something (I take it out and show him I'm returning lipstick) and I ask if he would honor this return without a receipt. His face was very stern and he said, "No." I ask him, "Your store won't honor returns wihout a receipt?" And his reply was, "Not at this time of night." Which I understand his reasoning behind. What I DON'T get is why, why, WHY would you treat a customer - YOUR customer so coldly? I know it's late, and I know I don't have a receipt, but why do you stare down on me? Now, my first experience was equally as terrible! I call at 12PM at night and it's the SAME night manager and I asked if they had someone that was capable of doing a photo book. I said it was extremely important because I had to wake up early the following morning to travel! I mentioned that if no one was capable of manning the photo lab, not a big deal, I can go somewhere else. But this man told me it was fine, so I make a trip to this location and begin creating a photo book for my dad. I spend almost 2 hours at this location and once I'm done I ask the manager how long it would take him to finish, and he said it shouldn't take too long. I'm patiently sitting there chatting with my boyfriend, who is also there with me, and then I hear the printer stop. I look over the counter and the manager had gone somewhere. We weren't in a hurry (since we still had time before our departure), so we just wait. When he returns he notices the printer is jammed and he tries to fix it himself. After 20 minutes pass he finally gets up and tells me I have to return 5 hours later when his photo technician comes in to get my photo book. Umm, what? You mean to tell me I spent a total of 3 hours pouring my heart out into that photo book and you want me to come back 5 hours later? After you deliberately told me over the phone you had it covered? Nuh uh. I politely declined his offer and left his store. Two thumbs down for this location. I may return for quick energy, but if you're looking for outstanding customer service I would suggest the Verona Walgreens, or any where else for that matter.

This was the worst experience shopping I have ever received. I got a call letting me know my ride was waiting outside. I tried to checkout but there was only one register person with a line full of people. Both photo and makeup were busy. So I returned the candy I was going to buy and tried to leave. At that point a manager told me to stop and asked me where the candy was. He accused me of stealing. If he had actually been watching me he would have known I returned the item! Or maybe instead of accusing people of stealing he should have been at a register so I could have bought the item I was trying to get in the first place. How rude.
