This place was better when it first opened. They used to spray down the front of your car before going in, now they just wave you in. It usually leaves some dirty spots on my car. Good in a pinch but there are better options. I do love the discount wash if you buy a second one, it's a good deal. The washes end up being about $7.50 a piece if you buy the second wash. They also have monthly unlimited packages.

Pretty good carwash, although kind of pricey for my car to get quite dirty and dusty the next day or so which staying clean is probably unrealistic but I was hoping for at least a few days lol.

came for free vacuums which weren’t free. wasted 30 minutes and gas getting here and they don’t accept apple pay

Staff is always helpful and the car comes out cleaner than most car washes, not perfect but pretty damn clean

I used Zippy's self car wash on 12th and Walnut in Milwaukee two times this past week. I used my credit card to pay and was aware of the need to push the Stop button before 8 minutes to avoid being charged the maximum charge of $10. However ,when I pushed the Stop button, on more than one occasion, the machine kept running and only shut itself off 30-40 seconds after I had initially pressed Stop. I tried calling Zippy's directly but the person who answered stated that it did not oversee the self service section and that that was managed by some guy in a white truck for which he had no contact information - Zippy's is listed as the billing merchant on my credit card statement. I ended up disputing the charges through my credit card company which was somewhat time consuming.

Paid with apple pay and the charge went through but no ticket printed so I could not open the gate. pushed call for help button but no one came over and the person behind me started honking their horn at me! I felt bad for holding up the line so I paid again, this time with card and my ticket printed. Sucked to be double charged for a mediocre car wash and the employees were no help even though I pulled up the bank app and had clearly been charged twice.

The place is okay at best imo. I pay $3 for a wash in Chicago and my car comes out pretty much spotless. I pay $5 here plus a $2 upgrade for a shining coat (or w/e the thing is, wax on the car so it’s shiny.?) and my car comes out barely washed. There was a bunch of soap by the trunk and I had to hand scrub several areas on my car. There were also some markings on my car that wasn’t there before the wash. Most likely never coming here again. Just a note, there’s not a lotta room for several cars so around 8-10 ( might be less) cars can clean the interiors at the same time
