We had to purchase several pieces of furniture and had gone to several stores before landing at Babcock. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable, not pushy at all. Victoria also let us know that by coming back on a different day we could get an additional 10% off because of an upcoming sale. Very happy with our shopping experience and looking forward to receiving our new furniture soon.

Defective Dining Table! We bought close to $5,000 worth of new furniture for our new home including a kitchen dining table. Almost immediately we noticed that the finish was chipping away from the primer causing unsightly white streaks on a dark finished surface. We called the store and they sent out a technician to look at it. He told us that it should not be doing this and that it was defective. He offered to replace the table top immediately which he did. He also stated that if the problem persisted on the new table we should call the store. Fast forward a couple of months, the same thing began to happen to the new table. However, we noticed even more damage this time. In addition to the chipping there was also bubbling after very little wear and use. We called the store and they said they would send out a technician to look at the damage. They later told us to take pictures in lieu of the technician coming out and send the pictures to the store. We did as instructed. We received a call from the manager, Columba, stating that there was nothing she could do and that the table had been discontinued. Even with there being the same issue with chipping, which the technician previously said was a defect in the product, she refused to send out a technician to examine the table further and stated the bubbling negated any remedy. She blew us off and said, "Take it up with Corporate". She displayed horrible customer service and made us regret spending our money here! There are definitely other places to buy furniture.

I liked that he was respectful of your space while you shopped allowing you time to come to a conclusion about making your purchase without pressuring you. First week of July 2020 I went in and purchased $2700 worth of furniture. Couch, love seat, and recliner! Delivery was pushed out about 3 weeks so I decided to pick up and set up the furniture myself. I realized January 2021 that each piece of furniture was poorly made and the stitching was coming undone in multiple areas. I called in on 2/4/2021 and spoke to Audrey who confirmed that the furniture was under warranty and they would send someone out on 2/9/2021 to repair or resolve my concern. At 10 am 2/9/2021 the manager Columba called me to inform myself that in order to repair said defective furniture that myself personally would need to bring the furniture into the store. The repair person comes once every 2 weeks to do repairs and it would be completed within 1 day! Mind you this isn’t the conversation I had on 2/4 nor did anyone think to disclose to me that choosing pickup over delivery meant I was responsible for bringing it in on a warranty repair! Absolutely nothing else was offered other than having poorly made expensive furniture! Never again! After years of being a consumer they have lost my business! Mind you the $1200 bed that I bought for my daughter completely collapsed while she was sleeping and caused major damage to my walls! It’s sad that this is what customer service has come to. Prior to this issue I loved doing business there, however I will take my coins elsewhere going forward!

Fast, friendly service! Ordered my furniture and had it delivered a week later! Delivery takes care of everything. They set it up and do the clean up! Update: I love the team at out Decatur, Al location. However, we ordered a living-room suite several weeks ago. Was supposed to be delivered Thursday, July 30th. It has now been moved back to August 10th! We got rid of our old living-room suite this weekend in preparation of new furniture arriving Thursday!! Very disappointed. Manager did find couch in another store, but couldn't be delivered until the 8th. We chose to wait for the full set to come in 2 days later. Just so disappointed.

Bought my husband a recliner with my first social security check. Spent $1200.00 I also bought the fabric 3 year fabric protection warranty. The salesman said it would cover any fabric problems. The recliner is just over 2 years old and the fabric is breaking down. They have refused to honor the warranty I bought. Do not buy from this store. You will be sorry. Dear owner, I received your response to call corporate I have called several times and also sent many photos as requested. They would not help me and never offered to refund the warranty charge. Please get with them to see the pictures.
