Mean old lady working in the fitting room area, wearing a frown like she hated her job and wished she wasn't there, had the nerve to yell at my child and ask her, " What are you doing over here!" When she realized that I was right there she tried to act nice. Too late...don't ever raise your voice at my child! The customer service sucks, no one wants to help and many cashiers get mad when you don't use the self check out!! Horrible store.

We are Walmart plus members. The last several times we’ve ordered grocery delivery, the order either doesn’t show up at all or is several hours late. It’s super unfortunate to pay for your groceries and not receive them!

I might be over rating this but mainly the best thing I join out of this location is the convenience it is from home (1 mile) The Lines can be ridiculous at time. It's definitely not the biggest walmart or I don't even think it's a super center but it gets the Jon. The Pharmacy there is wonderful Mrs. Collene is a professional. 3 to 4 stars

Like everywhere else, prices have increased by as much as 30%. But I must eat. Being on a affixed income is not a good thing when prices rise faster than my income. Frugal and careful shopping is a must - everywhere.

The bakery(at Pelham super Walmart) section lady (Erin) is very helpful and creative with the cake design and the taste. She made our son's birthday cake more beautiful by adding additional touch ups to look more 3D look ( just so others can understand, we shared those dinosaurs picture to her and asked to write the "happy birthday Rehaan", The additional trees, grass at the bottom all her own creative touch). Keep up the great work. Thanks for the Cake.

Used the pay as you go scanner. Yet, had to wait in the only self check out line open (for 33 minutes.) It would be more efficient to have a dedicated check out for folks who have already scanned as they went. Defeats the purpose to do so that in store scanning to wait to be able to leave

Found what I need but the only issue is a huge line but not enough cashiers. Since Walmart won’t hire cashiers why don’t they take out all those registers and put self checkout on all lines. That way people don’t have to wait in line.

Normally use the Calera Walmart for online pickup and basic shopping. We took a chance on this one because it's on our way home and they carry a certain product we needed. We placed an online pickup order for 4-5 and arrived just before 5. The attendant came to our car and asked if we had received an email saying our order was ready. We said we hadn't, but nothing had said our order would be delayed either and our time was 4-5, so with us showing up at the back end of it, we had figured things might be ready or at least close. The attendant said that he would go inside and let us know if it was ready. After waiting for 20 more minutes, we called the pickup line and asked if we had any update on our order. The same attendant answered the phone and said that the employees were still picking it. I asked if there was an estimated time for it to be ready, because we could probably wait a bit longer, but we would have to leave to pick up our child before the daycare center closed. The attendant's reply was, you probably just need to go ahead and pick up your kid. Points for honesty. On the bright side, Walmart said the money they already held on our account should be available to us again in 5-10 business days. The order was 13 items. If we had been told of the delay we could have gone inside and done the shopping ourselves faster.

The worst Walmart I have ever been to. (That should say something) We live within walking distance from this one unless we are buying simple groceries. We go to the Alabaster location which is just much better overall. Electronics has some of the rudest people I have ever met who clearly hate life and make every customer feel like a Burden. I guarantee you not a single employee you interact with here will be pleasant. Nobody ever actually works in any of the departments, and when you do get someone to help you, You will be treated like you are a massive burden. Using the mobile app to plan a purchase? Good Luck! Their inventory is NEVER accurate, Planned to buy a TV, "We can't find it" also tried to buy a Chromebook, "It isn't where it is supposed to be" Left emptyhanded both times, and bought on Amazon, and Best Buy (They Pricematch Walmart prices) None of the collectibles are ever accurate either Makes me wonder where all the missing inventory actually is. I have NEVER walked out of here satisfied with my experience. I blame management, Who I question if they even exist. Make the drive to Alabaster or Hoover if you need ANYTHING non-grocery related.

This is a Walmart just like all other Walmarts. It looks the same, smells the same, has the same stuff. Same friendly people, same layout same everything. If you like Walmarts then you will like this one. If you do not like Walmarts then you probably won’t find this place enjoyable. I was able to find everything I needed. I wouldn’t hesitate to visit this Walmart again.
