I had a Brazilian Keratin Treatment done at Altered Ego Salon & Spa on June 22nd. I just want to shout out to the excellent results I got. My hair is so soft and shiny - no more frizz!!! Michelle Matson & Raegan Longshore were my stylists and they did a FANTASTIC job. I could not be more pleased with my results. Just in time for pool and boating season. It will be so easy to style my hair for the summer! They were both super friendly and thoroughly explained the process and exactly what to do for post-care. This is my go-to salon for the past 8 years. They have stylists of various levels and affordability. They are so located in the cutest shopping center with a ton of other retail, commercial, and food services if you’re looking to get a lot of the to-do list done in one place.

Friendly staff who, and I cannot express this enough, KNOW THEIR STUFF. Where most places have a good idea of what they are doing here it is as though the staff operate on a much higher standard. My wife went here to have extensions adjusted. The installation went flawlessly and was done better then any other extension shop in town

Michelle is the best at cutting hair! I came in nervous to get curtain bangs, but she made me feel so comfy and confident after cutting them! All my friends now love my new haircut and want to go see her :)

So sad, I’ve been crying for days over how bad my hair has become and how tawni, the owner is refusing to refund for an awful mistake. I’ve been coming here for years, I went in as blonde, asked for brown, the light brown shown below is a previous brown I had and would’ve wanted. I left with a very dark red brown, permanent. Called and went back to get it corrected, Carissa was the one who had no interest in correcting and made me feel like a nuisance turned it even worse, stripped my hair and put what seems to be an even worse color, ruining my hair. Went to get a color correction, she was even shocked at how bad my hair was, red, green and dark, and I had to pay $400 for a minimal difference since the color wasn’t taking. Altered ego and the owner Tawni don’t wanna give me a refund because I went somewhere else to get it corrected… I tried to get it corrected by them and it came out worse! It’s been a nightmare, they might have many clients but I only have one hair and them refusing to take responsibility and make this right is so so sad. Service: Hair coloring
