One of the only places open in the morning to get food before work. Assorted dim sum is straight forward and yummy.

l was craving quick Chinese food with good veggies. Stopped by Lam Kwong Deli and picked up kung pao chicken, zucchini chicken and rice. It was exactly what I was hoping for, fresh veggies, quality chicken, the price was right and I was in and out of there in minutes.

Cash only, doesn't take any other payment method. All of the food is delicious! I ordered fried rice, orange chicken, BBQ pork, a dozen pork baos and potstickers. So great!

Stopped in there before closing time and needed 2 doz. Pork Boa's they only had 1/2 doz left but made up fresh ones for me got my 2 doz, and they delivered them to my car. I promised to call ahead next time and left there knowing I will be back. Nice people 👍

Really cute place! It was super affordable and the owners packed my food up really fast; the whole interaction took less than 1 minute. I got some siu mai and a baked pork bun. As for the food; expectedly it’s not the fancy dimsum you’ll find in restaurants but it was good and filling and that’s all I ask for. Most importantly it tasted like my childhood and I will definitely be back!

Absolutely loved their pork bao buns! They're not too sweet or salty. The elderly couple servicing me were very courteous and quick. Just a heads up, they only take cash! But definitely not a problem when supporting a well beloved mom and pop shop ❤️

This place has always been my favorite for a quick bite of some excellent Chinese food items and they are always nice & fresh and Delicious! Overall the place is great new paint looks great inside is still semi dated but it's its originality and I Love it! If your in the area it's convenient but main thing is Cash Only here cause as they say Cash is King!

We used to come here for dim sum a lots but not anymore. The taste was awful and the bao was ok. The skin was all watery and we had to throw away the whole order other than the pineapple bread. Do not recommend this location and will not be back again

Pork Shu Mai, shrimp dumplings and pork egg roll pictured here. The egg roll was phenomenal; thick and crunchy. Shu Mai is a favorite of mine and this place definitely satisfied my craving. There’s another place in South Sac called ABC Market and their dim sum is comparable, but I think I prefer Lam Kwong. I love the local, downtown vibe of this place because downtown Sacramento is a special place, and it’s because of places like this that give it all it’s charm. Amazing eatery for locals and vagabonds alike.

Great mom and pop shop. Saturdays they do lots of dimsum for takeout. Weekdays they have a smaller selection. Pot stickers, Eggrolls, shumai, hargao, brandy fried chicken, sesame balls, and combo lunch plates, chow mein, fried rice, chicken and beef dishes.
