Ugh! I've bought so many cars and this is the worst. Paid cash yet they swore they had to run my credit. They don't. That's a scam. They lied and lied. I just asked for an apology and they went ghost. No response from salesman Tom and Kevin as well as manager Bob Garcia. This was a simple fix yet it's been over a month and no response. This was first experience with Ford and will be my last.

I called inquiring about the Mach E and was quoted a price with a $20,000 markup. When I informed them that another nearby dealer is selling the same vehicle at MSRP, just pending inventory, the salesman laughed at me, told me good luck, and hung up. Extremely unprofessional. Just because market conditions are in your favor right now does not mean you can treat customers poorly. Car dealerships are dying, so they're going to take advantage in the short window of time they still have left. I'm glad they showed their true colors up front before I wasted any more of my time with them.

I ordered my new bronco through them and when there was an issue with Ford not matching the price of the original one I ordered, they team at Santa Monic Ford stepped in and solved in the issue in just minutes. I popped into the Santa Monica Ford service department, without an appointment, as my 2021 Ford Bronco's soft top was making an annoying sound while the top was open. Nothing serious at all. I pulled up, and Greg immediately asked if I needed assistance. He came out to see if he could help, and then his associate Wade started looking into the problem, took his time in analyzing the situation, offered to drive with me to see if he can hear the noise, pinpointed the area that needed to be fixed, and came up with a fix that worked immediately. Wade was the nicest guy, was singing oldies from the 50's while he worked, and just seemed like a happy person. He's apparently been working at Santa Monica Ford for over 40 years, and he's responsible for making the customer experience at Santa Monica Ford a great one for customers of the Service Department. Wade, it appears to me that you have succeeded! Thanks!!

I was able to reach out online first, and he was ready for my test drive when I got there, and we walked through the leasing process in a friendly and respectful way. Update: I purchased my brand new Mustang from Santa Monica Ford. I was super happy until I found out that they have bogus add-ons that they add into every deal. They charge $1000 for star guard which is like LoJack. LoJack only costs $500. Door guards for $500. Can purchase on eBay for $75. The worst part was that they said that these services would call me to set up an appointment. One month went by and no calls from either service. I called, emailed and left messages for the manager Inez 3 separate times. Not once did they call me back. After my 3rd phone call to the dealership both services finally called me to make an appointment. I guess once you buy the car, you are not important after that. The salesman was awesome so I am sad that I had to write a bad review due to bad management. Not even one returned call or email 3 months now after my purchase. Original review. This is the best dealership in SoCal. They sold me a hard to find Mustang Mach E. I called them about 2 weeks prior and talked to a salesman named Eduardo. I told him what I was looking for and he took down my info. I was so excited when he called me and said they had a customer cancel their order and it was mine if I could come down now. The transaction was super smooth and there was no mark up. Very thankful for the team at Santa Monica Ford!

The Mach E was available at this place with out the mark-up. Eddie S. Great customer service. California 1500.00 credit was applied to my purchase. It was a funky transaction, but I am stoke with the car.
