Their food has lost its once amazing quality. Now when you go to the drive thru, you have to remind them you need plates, utensils, even salsas. If you don't ask, you don't get but the plain chicken. Update as of July 23rd 2022. Someone needs to fire the person responsible for having this restaurant stocked. I decided to give it another go and el pollo loco was out of chicken!!! It's like saying McDonald's was out of burgers!!! This has happened before to one of my relatives too, they don't wanna sell the family menu; instead the push something more expensive....what an ugly restaurant this once great place has become

It's very tasty, the only thing I don't like is that on the birria tacos combo they give very small amount of consome it's not fair and it's expensive they should give more juice

Their drive thru was extremely slow. It took me more than 30 mins to wait for my order. I had to go inside to wait for my food since it wasn't ready by the time I ordered. They were out of crunchy tacos too so that also didn't make it a good day to go to this location.

I went through the drive through tonight and they tell me when I go to pay with ebt that they are closed inside and can not use it in the drive thru so we didn't when I have used it before in the drive thru if it changed then they need to have it posted right

Drive-thru customers beware. This is the 2nd TIME that el pollo has gotten my order wrong. Drive thru employee was rude and couldn’t care less about our order. We ordered a three piece meal with broccoli and mashed potatoes. I got home and found out that they only gave us a two piece meal with mashed potatoes but no broccoli. They couldn’t even give us the correct order since we ordered a three piece chicken meal and got only two pieces and no broccoli. Tried calling but they never picked up. I remember when el pollo loco was a respectable franchise. If you want to eat here, try another location because the staff here need retraining.

My first time here.after she charge me ,she said oh we don't have breast I said ok then after I ask for salad and coleslaw, she come back and said we don't have it either. Hardly she gave forks and salsa. NEVER I come here again.

This was the 1st ever issue with the Wilmington, Ca location...I've always brought home a great meal for my family...but, the food I got served yesterday was Atrocious! The restaurant was only open 20 mins and I'm served BURNT Chicken.. Totally BURNT and rice that probably only cooked 7 mins! It was honestly raw.. I just can't believe they could serve me food like that!

The drive thru was long, so I decided going in store to order. Turns out it would be the same, the person in front of me had a long order, totaling about $100+. Instead of giving my order first, which was just the 14 pc meal which the guy also ordered (so the staff could’ve just gave me that and get another one after), I had to wait more than 20 minutes, uhhh such a waste of time. I suggest just going to the drive thru then. The staff was nice but they don’t understand that not all customers have the time to wait and they should prioritize small orders if they can, specially if they have a similar order to the large order, just give that to the small order and fill in later on to the large order while other things from it is being made.
