I should have read the reviews beforehand. This place was terrible. I booked a car for pick up at 7 AM. I was at their door at 7. No one was there and the door was locked. I waited about 25 minutes and no one showed up so I left and had to figure out a different rental.

The worst experience ever. Stay far, far away. Showed up with a reservation for a moving van and they had nothing available. They didn’t even offer us an alternative! Just gave us a phone number. Now we have no way too be. Honestly, they need to be out of business!

Was given a vehicle with tags that expired in March, it's the end of July. And the tires were dang near bald. I've rented so many vehicles from here but won't again. They would not offer me a refund or discount, the charged me $157 for that experience and I had returned this vehicle within 2 hours. Stay away!

After I returned the van I received a call that I trashed the inside of van. Leaving diapers and “gunk” on the interior. The van was clean when I returned it the next day so was completely caught off guard by this conversation. It was only used for about an hour to transport a wedding party to their hotel and no babies were onboard! Reservation? Not honored with “no cars”. The man behind the counter? Exceptionally rude and unhelpful. We were told that we received a call from Budget letting us know that no cars were available. They never called but we had to deal with the blatant distrust from the assistant anyways. Eventually he gave us a customer service number that was a disconnected line. Based off other reviews it seems like this is common for budget and particularly this location.

Had given the car reserved for us to someone else and couldn't find keys for the only other SUV on the lot. Only got a car when a former employee showed up to turn in her keys and took over. We had been there an hour by then. Thank you Crystal for saving the day! You should be getting your ex coworkers salary.

I had a slow leak on my front driver side tire. I'm staying in Estes Park and customer service advised I could go to this location in Boulder. It closes at 6pm. Road service advised this location I was on my way and would be there before 6pm. I arrived there at 5:45 to find Avis/budget on 49th closed early even though they new I was on my way with a low tire. Just by Luck Jeff at the other budget location stayed late and allowed me to get to his shop after 6pm. Go support Jeff at his location at 4800 Baseline Rd - Ste D109A, Boulder, CO 80303. Jeff allowed me to refuel and set me up with an upgrade. It could have turned into an nightmare situation do to this location as I drove over an hr on a low tire just to have the location that new I was on the way to close early. Thank you Jeff at the baseline rd location, for your amazing customer service and turning a bad day to an awesome one!

Unfortunately there was a disconnect between the local office hours and those on the Budget website/confirmation documents and as a result, we missed our Sunday pickup time. Dealing with Budget corporate was a complete pain and given the change of dates (one day), the system was attempting to charge us over $600 more for the car. Online and phone support were useless and we received no satisfaction from them for an error on Budget's part - we received only accusations, attempts to flummox my daughter who rented the car and were disconnected on two calls. The next morning we explained the situation to the manager Asem and he took care of the problem immediately. His employee on duty that morning Ghailh was also very helpful. I will be writing Budget corporate as well, but I wanted to give kudos here for excellent customer service.
