I wear a mask everywhere I go. Every Friday I go to the supermarket. Conversation at Stop & Shop in Groton on July 15, 2022: Me: Do you have any quartered watermelon? Produce Guy: No, I'll have to go cut some. Me: That's OK. No rush. Produce Guy: We're in a crunch; our manager was sent home with Covid so we are short-handed. If you wait, I will cut some up for you. Me: Oh, I am sorry to hear that. Please be careful. Produce Guy: Naw, I don't believe in any of it. Me: Your manager was sent home with Covid and you don't believe in it? Produce Guy: No, it's all fake and he probably used that excuse to go home. Fade out to me walking away from him, and definitely not waiting for watermelon that he has touched. Moral of the story: Keep your "don't believe in Covid" comments to yourself, don't rat out your manager, and respect seniors who need to take care of ourselves. Other than that, the cashiers and service desk folks are fantastic and always make my otherwise unpleasant experiences good. I will start shopping at other stores because the prices at this store are higher than other grocery stores, enough to make it worth it to drive to other supermarkets. The End.

Unfortunately they stopped selling alot of decent cheese at this store like 3 pepper Colby jack, otherwise lots of selection, not alot of traffic I'm store at the moment

Convenient location just off route 95. They have a pretty decent selection of produce that is normally fresh.

We are from Pennsylvania. We have never seen a cleaner store with better options than this. Great work! I'm just sad we have to go home with regular stores!

My favorite market because of its clean and friendly atmosphere. It offers a vast variety of groceries with reasonable prices. It also has a bank and my favorite coffee shop Starbucks a plus for the store. Its the only store which has a robot named Marty who cruises around making sure the store is safe and clean. It alerts staff of unsafe areas that needs attention. Now thats putting your customers safety a priority. Enjoy seeing Marty on my shopping to Stop & Shop.

Excellent grocery store.....wide selection of all types of food.....many organic selections. Fresh produce is always good and lasts long once you get it home....great selection of fresh fruits and vegetables...meats are always fresh and all team members are very helpful

Legit almost died because of this location today! I go to stop and shop allll the time and this has never happened! Groton has a huge flower display when you are headed to Check out! Well I couldn’t even check out the floral was so strong tht my allergies were so bad!!! Flowers pollen and outdoor plants causes allergies just as much as foods the flowers should have there own side of the store like Norwichtown! I am literally in the hospital due to my eyes being swollen shut and can barely breath! Everything is finally calming down and hopefully I can go home soon! I will never ever go to groton stop and shop again!

I enjoy going to this Stop and Shop because they offer curbside delivery for groceries as well as for the pharmacy. It's very convenient to have the groceries delivered right to your car and have any medicines you need brought out to the car as well. There is seldom a issue but if there's a problem with any of your grocery items customer service is very helpful.

For the most part I have had no problems with this stop and shop over the 7 years I've gone there. Other than during hurricane and holiday seasons, I never felt like the aisles were ever overcrowded and plenty of parking in the plaza. The main reason I went here was because the grocery prices were considerably more affordable than the other places I visited with comparable selections (i.e. Big Y). If you live in Groton, I would definitely recommend this Stop and Shop as your main grocery store.
