It's suppose to be a judgement free zone then why is my husband being constantly approached by Saturday staff when he is simply trying to workout, he has no issues the rest of the weekdays. P.S I talked to management regarding this already.

My first visit here. It's very clean. Plenty of choices for machines and equipment. I'm disappointed that they don't have a fitness trainer on staff at the moment. Like many businesses, they're having staffing issues. They are looking to hire. I felt a little lost trying to figure out what to do but I'm sure it'll be easier as I learn more about the equipment. I could have asked a staff member but chose not to. There was plenty of parking.

They primary reason for not giving a 5 star rating is because of the broken equipment. The equipment is unavailable for use and has been for a long time. It doesn't appear thatvany effort is being made to keep the equipment in peak condition and available to the members.

Rude manager who won't even acknowledge you when you walk into the establishment. If you ask a question they act like it is a burden. Dirty treadmills, dirty lockerooms. I have been to many Planet Fitness locations and this one is the most unwelcoming and dirtiest.

I have been going to Planet Fitness for years and I love it. I had one problem with the lack of air conditioning overnight because there is none and it is hot and humid at 330am when I go. I called Planet Fitness in Groton I spoke to a young man named Darius who said he was a full-time employee and he said he would get a hold of his manager who was on vacation and get back to me. He was very PROFESSIONAL in his conversation to me. Darius got back to me seemed like seconds and the problem is going to be resolved. Kudos to Darius and thank you to Michelle for responding on her vacation. That's a manager who cares about her building!! AND Darius has advancement in his future!!

I have the black card membership here as it was a decent monthly price for it and I absolutely love this place! Plenty of equipment and no pressure to do anything beyond what is comfortable. The hydrobed and the massage chairs are amazing. Definitely get the black card membership to be able to use them, you will not regret it.

I am an avid gym goer and this is possibly the worst gym experience I have ever had since I’ve started using the gym. The Groton location specifically is completely awful. If you are a judgement free zone then why am I constantly approached by staff and management when I am simply trying to workout, I’m not loud, I’m not intimidating others so let me work out in peace. This location and business has tested my patience since I first signed their contract. I would be embarrassed if I worked here, extremely disappointed in this establishment.

I stopped here to learn how the silver sneakers program worked and got a tour of the gym. It appears to be adequate for my needs and will cost me the annual $35 fee. So I will keep researching.

I'm not one to complain, EVER. But the management here is HORRENDOUS! I can confidently say Michelle is the RUDEST most unwelcoming person I have ever come across. I have reached out to many of my friends, family, and even co workers in hopes she was just having a few bad days but to my surprise they have ALL had very similar experiences. If it wasn't for Waterford's amazingly attentive and welcoming staff I would no longer be a member. I was also noticing some pretty faithful Planet Fitness members randomly disappearing! I've run into some of them through work only to hear they've been banned for something as little as carrying a gym bag with them!! This is all extremely unfortunate due to the Groton location being extremely convenient for me being right next to my work but The attitude that I have experienced on MULTIPLE occasions has left the WORST taste in my mouth and So long as Michelle is management at the Groton Planet Fitness I will never be returning.

Planet Fitness is the place to be. I work hard. The staff is great. The machines are clean. And I enjoy the company of the other people that are there, if you don't know how to use a machine the other gym members are also there to help you along with the staff.
