By far your mail carrier are nothing less than lazy. They have created a path from one house to another, instead of using the sidewalk. Their no use in saying anything (one mail person was so lazy to throw the mail on the porch not looking for the mail slot)

This is by far the worst experience of my life. I walked in at 5:20 and there was a line. I waited and finally someone was able to help. The lady that was helping my husband and I didn’t even let me tell her why I was there before she rudely said you know it’s 5:30? Proceeded with you will need to come back I can’t help you. I was picking up some mail, I asked asked to please check because we had some really important mail, she went to the back when I heart “ her mail is here but it’s been 10 day” only to come back after 10 minutes and letting us know she couldn’t find it because it had been sent back. Why would you lie about that? But wow I can’t believe people. Anyways hope everyone has a wonderful day

The Middletown Branch of the United States Postal Service is located at 298 E. Main Street. The post office is conveniently located in the Middletown Crossing Shopping Center for central access by residents. The post office is open Monday - Friday from 8:00am until 5:30pm. Saturday hours are 8:30am until 1:00pm. The staff there is extremely friendly always willing to help customers. I definitely recommend the Middletown Post Office.

Over the last two years the Middletown Delaware post office service has really gone downhill they constantly lose packages and deliver packages to the wrong address sometimes across town not even being close to the same address. I’m not sure what’s happening there but it’s very unprofessional and needs to be investigated this is happening way to regular. When I talk to others about the problem it’s becoming very common seriously disappointed management needs to look into this I have filed many complaints and will continue until they get investigated to find out what in the world has changed. If you’re going to stay relevant which the post office used to be trusted everyone can do everything online then you have to at least be professional and train people properly so that not so many loss packages happen on a regular basis.

My mail delivery has gotten significantly worse since delivery moved from the Townsend office. You can't report or get answers about any problems with the Middletown office, because they don't answer the phone and their voicemail box is constantly full as a result. I groan when I have to use this office instead of Townsend because Townsend and Odessa close earlier now. They rarely have to people servicing customers in the lobby, but there will be people at two of the three windows. God only knows what the second person is doing, but he shows no interest in the line forming out the door (it always seems to be the same person).

The worker you have delivering mail in Dickerson farms neighborhood has been driving up into our yard creating gulleys and trenches. I have put in so many complaints and not one has been addressed. These are 600k plus homes. I didn’t work my whole life to have a postal worker ruin My yard. The reviews on this page speak volumes.

I called this post office in Middletown, DE to tell them they drop-off a box that didn't belong to me and I wanted them to come and pick it up. The phone rings with no answer after 50 rings twice. Constantly getting mail and packets not belonging to me. Usually I'm all over the neighborhood delivering packages or mail belonging to others. Not this time because it's a priority box.

As a business, we rely on the postal system to deliver our packages on time, in tact and provide information when we may need it. Middletown Postal Service does the opposite. There is a large community box for our business development. Packages are left on the ground and on top of the box, including on weekends when businesses are closed. This is an invite for thieves, which we have a lot of lately. No one will answer the phones. Packages state they have been delivered when they have not been. When going in the office to confront them, they are rude and could care less. Their attitudes are not warranted. We have a lot of missing packages and their "service" is getting out of control. I wish someone could step in and do something. From reading the reviews of others, the pattern is all too common!

This post office was much better before the pandemic. Now, they will NOT put the same person on the same route for more than a day. (maybe at least the same couple people could share a route?) I believe this has led to a significant decrease in protocols being followed. Because now the carriers break any and all rules and don't seem to care one bit about the people they are delivering to. My carrier has left packages next to my mailbox, in the snow, or rain, or sticking out into the 50mph road is this week's fun find, because they didn't want to walk up to door. My package got soaked!! Then, I tried to help by making a scan sheet with 3 packages in mailbox and the carrier takes the first one out with the paper on top, AND DOESNT LOOK THAT IT SAYS 3, doesn't look in mailbox! I mean why would I make a scan sheet for just one package! Use your brain, people!! I watch the carriers think they're being slick everyday and everyday lately they're breaking rules left and right. Give me my carrier with the nose piercing back! She ALWAYS would walk the packages up and do her job right and with a smile at that! Get it together, and tell your employees that you know what they're doing out there. we rely on you guys.

This post office is just awful. They are always delivering packages late, and it makes me ask the same question every time. What are you guys doing over there? Even if you pay for express 2 day shipping, it won’t matter because they will just deliver the package late anyways! They’re employees must be extremely lazy or lacking motivation because it’s ridiculous how long I have to wait for packages to get delivered that were already suppose to be at my doorstep. It’s never not a dreadful experience with this post office. If you can, get your items delivered through Amazon, they actually deliver on time and even early on some occasions.
