I was so shocked to see so many poor reviews. My experience at this site was so pleasant. Giovanni and Antoinette were super polite and helpful. Giovanni even helped me save bleeding handwriting on my package so I wouldn't have to re-do it again. Not sure what everyone else's problem is... but I will definitely come back for future mailings.

Wow , what an humiliating experience, i went to process my 2yr old son’s passport and my appointment was at 2:45 and we were 10 mins late , a woman came out from the office and yelled at us in front of everyone there that she was already done for the day that we should’ve been on time , i’ve waited for this appointment for over a month and was very difficult to get my husband that works in construction a toddler and myself which I’m a nurse there in a timely manner , she didn’t want to hear any explanations just screamed from across the lobby to leave and reschedule the appointment, i was so shocked in disbelief because how is she working there which such a bad customer service, i didn’t even got her name because i was speechless, sooo rude, so nasty , don’t go there

Just came to this location to drop off a package. I was told that next time I come in I have to wear a mask. There is no federal mask mandate currently which applies to post offices. When I questioned the teller she told me that there’s a mandate at this location only. This is a government run facility you can’t just make up your own rules and regulations. When I told the teller that there was no sign on the door they told me there was in which the sign was on the bottom of the door showing how to put on a mask properly. There was absolutely no signs on the door saying that a mask is required because it is not. Current information January 5, 2022 from the postmaster inspector general‘s website “ the Postal Service required all employees to wear face coverings where a state or local mandate was in place and social distancing could not be achieved, requested customers to wear face coverings in all retail facilities” “REQUEST” if you are private business you can make your own rules and regulations and require a mask in order to be served. Because this is a government run facility you operate by rules and regulations of the government and not your own made up rules and regulations. The postmaster needs to have a talk with these clerks because they are under the impression they can make up their own rules.

This place BY FAR has the best service than any other USPS location I've been to. I know that doesn't say much considering how poor the service can be in other locations, but the workers here really were very kind and helpful. Little things, such as holding the door for the elderly and handing kids candies, let alone the quick and straightforward assistance, add up to great care and service.

I think the animal that’s works behind the counter (passport) needs to work cleaning animal feces at a zoo! She treats people like animals. I had an appointment for a passport and immediately starts yelling at us from across the lobby what our names were. I asked her if she was going to speak to me at the window or continue the appointments from across the lobby! This is a violation of privacy and just bad customer service!! Sadly, the other two people working behind the counter were no help!! Looks like there are more bad reviews on this lady. Why is she still working here? She refused to see us and stormed away from the counter.

The Employees here are wonderful with Outstanding Customer Service! They find a creative way to keep the lines moving and customers waiting as minimal as possible. For example, if a customer has to fill out an address label they will ask to fill out on the side and come back to that specific window when done. In the meantime, they take care of another customer! This is Great! Instead of the One by One mentality which takes longer and essentially just sitting there wasting time, they continue to work with another customer. So they are continuously moving the lines and Customers are happier. As a small online business owner, the Post Office is my support to My customers. The Post Office at 8821 SW 136th St, Miami, FL 33176 is by far hands down, the Best in Customer Service. I commend each one of them for always coming to work with such great positive attitude. It’s always a Pleasure to walk in there.

I live in Residences at the falls. I'm just so frustrated with the postal service... frequently I have wrong mail with the wrong address in my mailbox. And sometimes I don't get my mail I suppose to according to Informed Delivery mail. The postman name Jose with the curled hair, he seems so lost. I feel very unsecured with my mail delivery. Please do something about this matter. Thanks.

A lousy place. I never recommend it. mistreatment of employees. They didn't even say hello or take into account that we were going with a little girl to treat us as they pleased. the place was empty, there were no people to attend and even so they canceled the appoimet. Thank you for the next one, attend better, if you work with the public you must have at least a minimum of respect. what a shame that those things happen

So why wouldn't the staff member who removed the old times (just one numeral missing), finish the task and include the correct time? Maybe just removing the signs would be better than having two signs that do not give the info needed when someone comes in to check your hours of operation (which may have changed and I can only guess the message is that no one really needs to know your new hours).

Todays incident does not deserve any star. I had a certified letter to be picked up(pink slip) for my boy friend. 1st day the lady told me since I was not the person, I cannot pick up the mail and the postal office will hold the mail for 15 days. Unfortunately he was not able to come back within the time frame so he asked me to check the box on the pink slip and write my name with residence. It took 2 days in the mail box and I finally had to attach a note asking the mail to be delivered. Finally the pink slip was picked up but no certified mail. I finally went to the postal office to ask questions. I understand I cannot pick up the mail which is not on my name, but the lady kept saying she shouldn't talking about the mail since it does not belong to me. I was asking about the process of what will happen to the mail! I did raise my voice since I was waiting her statement to finish but she would not hear me out and kept interrupting me. She told me she is calling for the supervisor. I called my boyfriend and explained the situation. The supervisor was on a conference call so I never got to speak to. When she overheard my conversation with my boyfriend, she finally told me the mail will be delivered to tomorrow. Than she and the co-worker started to saying I cannot use the phone. Sorry, I was not at the counter when I was on the phone. There is a sign for no phone on the counter. I even asked if she'd speak to my boyfriend but she refused. As I was walking out, I remembered that I'm working so I won't be home so I asked if the pink slip will be left since I'll be working but she refused talk anymore. It is unfortunate I did not get her name.
