Pretty sure this was bad because they are under staffed and we also had a party of 9 adults. The appetizers came out fast so we had high hopes. However the entres took over an hour. Hibachi came out coooold. The others who had the sushi said it was decent.

Abel served me Shumei and the chef's special new Fire Dragon Roll. Both were delicious. Abel was friendly and attentive. My family also enjoyed their meals. We will return to try hibachi. Thank you.

Andrea is an absolutely disgusting server. I’ve never had someone be so rude to me at a restaurant the way that she was. I understand completely why this place has tanked. she’s the only server on the floor for lunch and she treated us like garbage. I’ve been serving for years and never have I ever treated anyone like that no matter if they were difficult or not which I absolutely was not considering she messed up every single part of my meal. I told her it was fine no problem ITS MY BIRTHDAY so I was in a good mood I mess stuff up at work all the time I did not care I know how it is. The food was taking too long since it needed to be remade so we ended up asking to get it to go. I guess she took it upon herself to decide my husband wasn’t going to get his food and didn’t even bring his out but was expecting us to pay for his food he never got. and when I asked where it was she said if I don’t mind waiting longer she’d get it for me. she obviously messed up again and didn’t ring in his food to go. best part is management the manager was very helpful she comped my bill after seeing how upset I was. i doubt anything will be done ab the disgusting service as they’re short staffed. Andrea you need a new job ur manager said u were just hired serving is not for you u have 0 people skills. you should be so so embarrassed it’s so obvious ur taking advantage of the fact that this place isn’t as busy as it used to be so u just think u can act however u want towards people bc they need the staff. you ruined my day which I’m sure will make you happy you seem like one of those people. i will reiterate one more time to management your business will never improve with service like that on the floor. if you get Andrea LEAVE or move sections.

I placed an order for 2 sushi rolls on the website and it was through door dash. It said it was going to be ready by 6:26 when I placed it at 5:48. I called around 6:18 and asked if it was ready to see if it was done early. The lady answered that sounded like she was russian and said it was done at 5:48. I told her I never got a notification from door dash or anything saying it was ready and she continued to tell me it’s been sitting there for 20 minutes. So we went there and I was told to go through the drive thru, which fine whatever. We get up to the window and the lady hands us the food and the sushi roll that had spicy sauce on it had gotten on to the one without spice. I could not add special instructions to the order on door dash in order for it to be in separate containers. I told her and she said well it’s been sitting here for 30 minutes. I then tried to tell her (while she was interrupting me trying to stop me) that we never got a notification and I showed her my phone of the door dash screen that said “order in process.” She then gave me faces and said the chef will remake it in 3-5 minutes. So we waited and once it was done I grabbed it and checked it in the car and it didn’t even change. They made us wait 3-5 minutes for us to be given the same thing as before. I hope their other servers are better than this lady.

I’m leaving two stars because I feel bad for owners. Food was decent but service was pretty bad. Service ultimately is a reflection of your business so I would suggest a team meeting or new staff selection. A customer should never have to walk around looking for their waitress on numerous occasions for a refill on drinks & then be accused of drinking “too fast”….

Hostess said she would be seating all of the people waiting for hibachi which made no sense with tons of open non hibachi tables. They had plenty of employees, so I don’t think that is the issue. I think that they are a disorganized business with no proper training for staff. We get shoved in the back corner of the sushi area, and immediately knew we would be forgotten about, and we definitely were. They seat someone two seats over to us about 10 minutes later who gets a waitress, soups, salads, and orders all before we are even acknowledged. A nice waitress apologizes and takes our order, but we still only get our sushi (after watching it sit out at the sushi bar for 10 minutes before anyone brings it) and no utensils or drinks. A waiter eventually brings our salads, but again, we don’t have any forks so we ask politely for some and he replies with an attitude and says “Ugh, I was getting there!” when we should have had utensils to begin with. Our entrees finally come out, and we get zero sauce with our meals, which looks like everyone else usually does. We specifically said we wanted sauce when ordering. He comes back with the tiniest amount of sauce (we aren’t even huge sauce people so we didn’t need much!). So we end up having to ask for more, and again get the tiniest amount possible and only one tiny bowl instead of two for 2 people. I have definitely had much better Japanese food and was already not a fan, but my fiancé is, and even he said we would not be back.
