Never opened on time, no one ever answers the phone.

I went to Cricket on Sun City and I was very surprised of the excellent customer service I received by the manager Ali and his assistant Nancy. They answer all my questions, helped me choose a new phone and provided me with the plan that I can afford best! They went out of there way to make sure I was happy. If you are looking for a good customer service location come to Cricket in Sun City.

My wife and I went to the store about a week ago shopping around for a new phone and I had a really terrible experience with one of the employees. He refused to give us his name and did not greet us as we entered I asked questions he had no clue the answers too or simply didn't care to answer them. He couldn't take his face out of his phone. I would recommend this store to my friends and family especially since it is very close and convenient but we ended up taking our business elsewhere and even switched carriers.

Mixed bag of errors, poor customer service, and revenue-geared fees. GOAL: Upgrade from 2 separate Cricket accts to a single 4 line $100 Cricket acct. Buy 4 phones (2 upgrades / 2 new lines). 12/23: Visited to nail down options/prices. Noe was friendly and helpful in navigating both. Asked, "aside from new line prices, are there any other fees?": Noe was very clear and emphatic..."NO". 12/24: Arrived 10 mins before closing to upgrade or at least get a new case for a phone. The open sign was off, gate partially closed. Simply got a "we're closed"...as if, good riddance. 12/28: Arrived @ 5pm to buy 4 phones (goal - a 4 line $100 acct). I left at 8pm...YES...3 HOURS LATER!!!...with only ONE phone processed. I was very patient (prefer things done right vs rushed). PROBLEMS: - Noe repeated more than once "I was supposed to get off at 6pm." He volunteered who wasn't there, should've been working, and things he didn't know, followed by "I learned a lot". As a result, he was constantly "face timing" with a lead named Italia (at the Ruskin store). - The phone (new outta the box) had NO CHARGE. Kinda odd, but Noe connected to a charger. Red flag right there. - Noe mixed up SIM cards (placed in wrong phone). It took FOREVER to activate after MULTIPLE tech support / team lead calls. Midway thru it all...NOW he advises of $25 activation fees per line. "Oh, I didn't mention that?" Umm, no. That's why I asked specifically in advance. Besides the $25 per line activation fee (sprung on me): - Our existing phone lines just renewed (after autopay $55 and $45), paid thru 1/22/19. Yet to upgrade to a $100 4-line plan, they charge another $20 flat fee. WHY? "We first have to combine your existing lines into an $80 plan, THEN add the other 2 lines is another $20". Italia was very clear, "I know you already paid over $100, but that's just the way it is". WARNING: There is no prorated credit once your payments are made. Ok so, NOW it's 8pm (closing time). There's a mad rush to finish. I advised to get one upgrade right, didn't have time to START working on the others (now THREE HOURS LATER). So, Noe placed it in the box (FULL of FINGER PRINTS/SMEARS) on the glass. Noe didn't ask about or offer a screen protector or case. When I asked, after all that we went thru, he was very direct in "No, I can't do that". Didn't share or mention ANY protection options. I wonder what they are/were? Overall...Anything beyond a simple request, I received the worse (professionally and technically). BUT...it's AT&T''s budget carrier to help SAVE money, right? WARNING: you get what you pay for folks. Even another customer, there to make a simple payment felt he was being overcharged by $5. Noe couldn't explain why in simple terms, only that's what the system does/says. Customer left miffed, fuming. I fully understand.

After a bad experience at their Brandon Mall location, I decided to visit this store in Riverview. This one was exactly opposite of my previous experience. Shady was extremely helpful and a very knowledgable person. I was out of their store in less than 15 minus with a brand new phone and a ported-in sim! I'd highly recommend this store over other Cricket stores nearby.

I'm reading all these negative reviews about cricket and this particular store. I personally have never had a bad experience with either one. My phone works fine, my service is great, my bill is the same every month. I think the prices are reasonable and I've never been treated poorly by the employees. I would recommend cricket to a friend or family.

One word AWFUL.... bout 2 phones with all the bells and wistles. I spent almost $400 the day I purchased them. I got the insurance they pitched at me, but one week later my vell phone stopped working. I drove up there and expexted to trade my new cell for one that worked cell lasted 7 days. Nope they said I had to repurchase cell phone or send phone back to manufacture and wait God knows how long to get cell back. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. THEY ARE SCUMB BAGS.

Jeff is the best at explaining about the difference in phones. The manager Mike is excellent at his job too. Angel was great at setting up the phone quickly and effciently. A Top notch group in this store. Keep up the awesome customer service!!!!

Had a great experience with Cricket out west about 10 years ago when I needed a month-to-month plan, thought we'd try them again out here. Here's the core problem with Cricket--the branch locations are licensed dealers technically separate entities from Cricket. So once they have you as a customer, they both pass the buck in fixing any problems. We did two smart phones and both had messaging problems from the start. I expected their product to work right out of the box. The branch said the same. But I had to spend over an hour on the phone with HQ setting up APN configurations for each phone, and HQ said the branch should have set these up when we bought the phones. After much back and forth between HQ and the branch with neither stepping up and owning the problem I finally got both phones text messaging working. That said, even after getting it to work, the messaging would sporadically stop working some days and I'd have to go through the whole reconfiguration again. And we never could get the multimedia messaging to work. Sending pictures and videos just didn't work. HQ shrugged their shoulders at it and referred us to the branch. The branch manager said he'd look into it multiple times over the course of a few weeks but never did. He also said the problem with our phones seemed to be an anomaly but refused to give us new phones because the branch would have to eat the cost. I don't think he could have done much for us anyway, given the corporate distribution structure and the branch's lack of technical expertise, but the branch manager literally did nothing to help us. And HQ--terrible customer service. I was respectful with them but held their feet to the fire in stating that I expected them to figure out our phones and make them work. They hung up on me every time!!! Different people too. It's got to be an internal policy that if a phone call isn't going anywhere, disconnect. Cricket has lots of rebates, so if you can get a free phone you might try them--you might hit the lottery and get service that actually works. And if it doesn't, they're month-to-month anyway so there's little risk in trying. But for what it's worth, we had a frustratingly disappointing experience and don't recommend Cricket, and definitely not this branch.
