Tony helped me out on short notice with my suspension AND diagnosed a brake issue that I've had for a long time with just a drive around the block. He was fast, willing to explain why work had to be done, and even took the time to tidy up all of the cables and hoses in my front wheel wells. Can't recommend him enough!

I would always like walking by Unique Engineering and Repair to see the classic cars that they were working on. Because of this, and the convenient location, I assumed that it would be an expensive place for basic repairs. This is not the case at all! I’ve taken my car there three times now and have been beyond satisfied with the work and price each time. At this shop I’ve had a minor repair done, an oil change and what I would consider an intermediate issue diagnosed. The owners are incredibly friendly, fair and honest. They didn’t even charge me for the diagnosis they performed in that they told me it didn’t take them long to get to the bottom of it. This was quite unexpected. If you stop by and no one is at the front desk, just walk in as it seems the two owners are the primary mechanics, which is I’m sure how they keep their prices down.

I took our 2011 Infinity QX56 in for a well deserved tune up and replacement of the radiator and starter. Tony and Derek did an Amazing job! The truck is running like it was new! I was actually surprised about how much better it accelerated and how smooth it was. Excellent job and a fantastic value vs. the dealers out there! Thanks again guys!

Love this place! Tony and Derek are the best, most accommodating, knowledgeable , honest auto mechanics in Pinellas County. Located in Safety Harbor, drop your vehicle off, wander around quaint Safety Harbor for an hour, Tony calls and tells you your car is done, and, voila! You're on your way with a happy vehicle and a smile on your face.

Rolled in for a spa retreat and my car was smoking. I was given Tony's name at Unique Engineering and 4 hours start to finish and an incredibly reasonable bill and my anxiety evaporated and my spa vacation began. Great shop and Great customer service!! Tony, the Owner and his staff are very honest. They go the extra mile to find you the most affordable quality parts. They Will tell you if you need anything extra done but WILL NOT pressure you into it right then!! Shop is located right on Main Street in the middle of all of the shops and restaurants. Great way to pass time while your car is being serviced. They always treat my car as if it were their own. NOTHING BUT QUALITY SERVICE. I won' go anywhere else! I live almost 30 mins from the shop but it's TOTALLY worth the drive!

Whether it is a car, truck, motorcycle, scooter..u name it , they have worked on ours. We even get our tires here for better prices than the big boys... Just can't say enough about these guys... Tony and his crew are outstanding. He has been taking care of my vehicles since I moved to Safety Harbor in 2001. He always repairs them correct the first time keeping us moving, and forever tracks the repairs that have been made so you keep up to date with your vehicle's service that comes due. Also he has never called me saying he is waiting on parts, because he doesn't waste his time or yours. He completes the work faster then anyone I have ever used in the past 12 years prior to being introduced to his shop back in 2001. I highly recommend Unique Engineering!
