Yes, it is truth, Macy's is not what used to be, sadly the internet is ruining all these amazing stores that in the past they gave us so much joy. How ever, every time I can I go and support our small Macy's I want to mention this particular employee by the name Ericka, I have the time to observed at her while waiting for my turn, she was the only employee in the lady's shoes department, she had a big number of customers waiting for her to ring their purchases and to bring their shoes sizes, in the whole time she maintain her smile, professionalism, and make everybody feel like a important customer. When it was my turn, she explain to me all the offers available to me so I could take advantage of the sales. These 5 stars are for Ericka. Thank you Macy's.

1 staff person on the whole 2nd floor No prices on products (need to scan) Loosey goosey pricing/discounts... It's a dinosaur and it's obvious why My luggage broke before a trip so glad they were there. Mixed feelings

I like shopping at this particular store. I've been shopping here since coming to Sarasota. I know many of the associates by name. They are always knowledgeable, helpful and never pushy. I met Nicole today in the Ralph Lauren dept. She did sway me to buy a sweater which I will likely never wear but I couldn't resist because it was deeply discounted and it will look fabulous hanging in my closet anyway. Thanks for your help today Nicole!

First off I wanted to let people be aware that the happy gift cards for Macys and other places have not been working. How I know this was because my giftcard I received for my birthday did not work. The cashier had told me that it happened 3 times to people with Happy Gift Cards, so just beware, it might resolve itself within time. Anyways I’m giving this store location a 5 star review for the staffs amazing effort, time, and patience. Cashier Miguel and his manager were truly amazing! I really appreciate them taking the time to help me out. I feel like people usually complain more then say good things in retail. I really hope they’re acknowledged for their excellent customer service! Thank you Macy’s team!!!

Went to buy a mattress, we already knew the one we wanted along with the frame and all. The gentleman was talking to a couple when we got there. Another sales associate walked over to them and joined in on the conversation. So now all 4 are talking about the mattresses. My wife and I decided to sit on every mattress one more time just to waste a little time and make sure we where happy with our decision. After that she looked at sheets as I just sat and waited. Then one of the 2 associates walk away so I stopped him. And said I want to buy that mattered and the frame. The mattress was $2,999 and the frame $1,500. He replied that this is not his department and I would have to wait for the other associate. Then he went back and joined in the conversation they all were having. After waiting 30 minutes and not even being acknowledged by the sales person I decided to leave. If he would have said "I will be with you shortly" or even just made eye contact I would have understand. But never to look in our direction and to pretend we were not there i think is a very poor action not only from a sales associate but from just being human. I will not go back to this store and I grew up going to Macy's over the past 40 years. It was my mothers favorite store when I grew up and now it is my wife's favorite store. We have a Macy's credit card and go there almost every month. It is so sad how the store is changing from what it once was. 20 years ago this would have never been tolerated.

This is the SECOND time they left an alarm on my clothes and let me tell you I’ve only shopped at this Macys twice. They also charged my mom more than what the price tags said and even “forgot” to give her her change. The customer attention is very poor, employees treat you as if you were bothering them. I’ve also heard an old lady complaining about the poor attention she had received. Guess I’m heading back tomorrow to get my alarm removed, is great that gas prices keep increasing🙄

I love LOVE Macy's! Unfailingly, I find gems there. But then Macy's has been my retailer long enough for me to state--with no equivocation--that it honestly stands by whatever it sells. This time I went to the infant department where I found the cutest newborn sneakers, a set of tiny sox and a soft all cotton casual outfit for our expected latest family addition. Did I say I love Macy's? Darn right!

I only went to Macy's to look, but they always have something nice that catches the eyes!!! Oh they had some nice Colognes and perfumes. And who can resist the jewelry.. I couldn't. Whatever you can't find in the store, the associates are more than happy to help you find online or at another store. They can order it for you and have it shipped directly to your home. Mark, a very nice young man at the Jewelry counter, helped me do just that.
