After reading mostly positive reviews, I decided to drive 40 minutes to get fitted for a good bra. Well, I walked into the store to the most miserable person. I told her I would like to be measured & fitted for a good bra, and also a 1-piece bra to wear under a dress. She asked me what size I was wearing (42D). She then told me to go into the dressing room. She brought me in a size 42G! After trying it on and it was huge she brought me another one. Again it was all wringley & large in the cup. I thought she misunderstood me & I repeated the size I was wearing. She rudely said you are not a D (how would she know since she never actually measured me)! She angrily snapped at me what do you want in a bra? Of course, I want it to fit right & be comfortable, which neither of the 2 she brought me did. I told her I would stick with what I had, got dressed & walked out! To pay the prices they charge for someone as rude as her, & she didn’t even take the time to help find what I went in there for is unacceptable! I wouldn’t waste time or money in that store EVER!!! And no, there was not one other person in there, so she wasn’t busy! No excuse for rude treatment in any establishment!

Interesting review I just read of Sea Cup and Up. I happened to be in the store at the same time this woman was in. Funny how the incident was recalled. As I heard it play out, I witnessed two store people working very hard to troubleshoot the issue with this woman for twenty minutes. They found a solution and finally were able to help other customers. The return policy of no refund or exchange if tags are gone is posted all over. This customer wanted an exception and wasn't given one by the nicest people who delivered the news in a very professional manner with nothing but courtesy and respect. Ironically I'm wearing the same exact wireless bra now and am ecstatic with it. So comfy and gorgeous.

I went to Sea Cup and Up to buy some lingerie and two bras of which i spent a considerable amount of money. I wore one of the bras once and found it to be very uncomfortable with the clasps in the back scratching my back. Of course I took the label off the bar since I did not know at the time that the bra would be uncomfortable and I was planning to keep it. I attempted to return or exchange the bar and was told the store policy was no bra returns if worn or no longer has the label. While I understood this policy I would not have discovered how the bra feels unless I wore it once for a considerable time. I certainly thought that this bra could have be put on display on one of their dummies. Both the owner and her sales lady did not believe my complaint as no other customer had this issue. I had to try on the bra to show them where and how the hooks were scratching my back. In attempting to find a solution since I was not allowed to return the bra I asked if they had an extender to attach to be bra. They did find one which resolved the problem but in the wrong color and did not match the bra. (The only color was white while I needed nude to match the bra). The most disconcerting part of this experience was that I was then forced to pay $5.35 for the extender to resolve my issue. I was appalled at the lack of professionalism and good business sense in the way they treat a new customer. I will never return to this store again

I'm so grateful for Sea Cup & Up! I've been here a few times and the ladies worked so hard to find me the right fit and style. The owner is really helpful in knowing all the brands and styles that can be special ordered. The store is clean and comfortable with a great variety of brands and styles to choose from. I highly recommend shopping here if you appreciate personalized shopping and quality customer service! Hands down the only place in Sarasota to shop at if you are a C cup or up! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Cheryl and her staff made me feel amazing, and look even better. I have spent way too much money on inferior underwear elsewhere. Never again will I buy a bra from anywhere else! The pieces I have purchased here are the only ones I ever want to wear. Check out my pics, can’t believe how perfect the strapless bra they fitted me with is! Can you see a seam? I can’t. And this is a crazy-tight fitting top.

I highly recommend Sea Cup & Up and Cheryl, the owner! My GYN referred me to this shop for a proper fitting - and I'm so happy with my experience! Cheryl, the owner, was so great and helpful. Upon arriving, she immediately made me comfortable. We discussed my situation, determined my size and she then provided me with a few styles that may work. I was amazed by how beautiful the items were. As I was there mostly for "functionality", I was so impressed with how lovely my options were. Cheryl took her time working with me to find the bras that had the best fit and were most comfortable. I'm still shocked that I've been wearing the wrong size bra for decades!! After 2 days of wearing my new, properly-fitted bras, I'm already feeling relief. This is a little gem of a shop, a quaint little boutique in Sarasota. And Cheryl is as relatable, endearing and lovely as can be. I will certainly return again soon! ...and quite possibly pick up a little something for my husband, too :-)
