Tiffany (Tom Ford/Fragrance dept) was amazing! She was the ONLY one to ask us if we needed anything instead of the rest of the employees who followed us around the store. We stopped and looked at clothes, shoes, home goods, etc, and no one asked us if we needed help. While in the men's department, she came over to put away cologne, introduced herself, let us know where we can find her if we needed anything. We decided to go over to fragrance to find her to help us. The other person in fragrance (I forgot his name) also asked us if we needed help. Waited for Tiffany to come back, she spent time with us discussing fragrances, what she thought we would like, etc. Even though she worked with Tom Ford, she was very knowledgeable about the other fragrances and didnt mind helping me find a scent that I would love. She was very helpful, personable, and is the only reason we would come back and shop at Nordstrom.

The customer service via phone (purpose was to update billing address) was cumbersome with long wait times. I was extremely disappointed by the lack of service provided by the billing department (I appeared to be an extreme inconvenience) The final department I was sent to was IT (not sure why this department needed to solve/update a billing address). This gentleman was extremely helpful and patient. I have always found Nordstrom to be customer focused but your call center is the first impression for many customers. Service recovery may be lost to your customers who are not patient enough to hold and be transferred 3 times.

I hadn't been to Nordstrom's shoeshine stand in a long time. The price increased from $2.50 to $5.00, but seeing as how it was $2.50 when I moved to the Atlanta area in 2005, the increase was overdue. I always gave the hard working guys $5.00, but it sounds like I was in the minority. Still, an excellent shine and a bargain at $5.00 before tip. Don't forget to tip!

I always go to Tiffany S. in the fragrance department when I shop at this location. She is so sweet and give great suggestions on the best fragrances to try. Definitely ask for Tiffany if you are looking for the best fragrance to purchase!

My husband bought me some Fendi sunglasses online from Nordstrom Rack for Mother's Day. When they were shipped to my house, the sunglasses came in a plastic sleeve-- no fendi case to protect them which they were suppose to come with. Nordstrom & Nordstrom rack are an hour away from our house and the Atlanta traffic is a nightmare. My family and I loaded up today (Mother's day) to head downtown after speaking with Nordstrom customer service which told me i could go to either Nordstrom or Nordstrom rack to get the case and also added in their computer system that i didn't receive a case for my designer glasses. We arrived at this location, and the two AA women who helped me were so kind, helpful, and went to the back to check for one with no problem. One of the women came back and as she was continuing to look for a case, the manager i assume (white older lady with reddish short hair and mask on) came over and the nice woman who was helping asked her to grab me a fendi case. This manager was SO rude, and told me "i cannot give you a case for your glasses, bc then ill have to sell the glasses to someone without a case". "You will just have to go to Nordstrom rack to get them" i explained i was told By Nordstrom i could go to EITHER Nordstrom or Nordstrom rack, and that when they arrived-- the case wasn't packed with the glasses. How is this MY issue? God forbid you have to give me a case for glasses that were already purchased because a POTENTIAL sale would need them. So i drove an hour in awful traffic to complete an order i had already purchased and the manager was far from kind to me. My husband and i are both in management positions and would never be so rude to someone who was trying to collect something that SHOULD have been packed in the 1st place. I looked over at the AA lady who helped me and you could tell she felt bad bc she knew it wasn't my fault and a manager of all people should have known better. The main reason i was upset is the way she said this as if it was my fault the case wasn't packed with my order. So we drove over to Nordstrom rack and the person standing at the door immediately walked over and gave me the fendi case NO PROBLEM and she was SO kind about it. Thank you to that kind lady at NR and also, to the two kind ladies at Nordstrom who probably know thier manager is a JERK. Miserable people have no place in customer service let alone a place like Nordstrom. I'll be sure to let Nordstrom customer service know the manager at this location refuses returns/completing orders online if its an inconvenience for her.

The service is impeccable. Lester in women's wear is a gem. He's a delight to work with and he has the best taste and knows how to make a woman look her best! Also love the shoe department and the layout of the store. It's always a great experience. Also, returns are super easy and fast.

Recently moved here from Seattle where I liked the service, inventory and quality of the flagship store. For this Buckhead store, on the positive side, the people that took care of us were very kind and empathetic. They said they've gotten lots of feedback about the lack of fresh inventory. They did not pressure us to buy in the least bit. My friend and I had an appointment with a personal stylist. I thought we would need to restrain ourselves to not spend too much. Instead, we found the clothes uninspiring and the thoughtfulness of the "personal" styling lacking. For example, I was asked about my size and what I wanted, but the personal stylist categorized it as preppy. There wasn't much nuance. Another example, the rack that I saw had stuff you could find at Old Navy because the style had been around for maybe 7 years. A third example, their strategy seemed to be to throw a bunch of stuff on the wall and hope something sticks. Instead of carefully rolling out two to three choices at a time, listening for a reaction and then iterating, they gave us a rack of clothes with 15 to 20 items at once. It wasn't an enjoyable experience. Final example, my friend's $500 dress suggestion was highly wrinkled. When I pointed that out they said something about their steam iron. I don't think a nice store should present winkled clothes.

This is a typical Nordstrom. The store itself was clean and in good order. The shelves and racks were full, and the clothes were folded and hung neatly as would be expected in a nicer store. Our interaction with two different staff members was great. They were knowledgeable about the products in their area and extremely helpful.

Consistently great service, quality. Conveniently located close to 400 and off of Peachtree. Ample parking always. Wonderful shopping experience for family members (Christmas Eve, of all days!) with LeAnna. Appreciate the fine customer service and the convenience of Nordstroms.
