I have been a big supporter of Publix since they came to Chapel Hill. The produce is fresh and everything is well stocked. Most employees will go out of their way to help a customer. Recently this wasn't the case and I was treated poorly by a manager there. There's listening and then there's having your mind made up before you listen. So sad and yes I may be driving up the road to Kroger a bit more often. Loyalty works both ways and they certainly lost my trust. Treat customers better. This was one of the worst customer service experience I have ever experienced.

This Publix is great. Friendly staff, clean well kept store with beautiful produce altogether making shopping a pleasure. Their sub sandwiches are second to none and hand made to order . They also have a delicious hot food bar.

This Publix has gone downhill. It's close to home so it is convenient, but the bakery and deli cannot be trusted. I went to the bakery area to look at the one of the tables, and it was dead flies on the table. I went back the next day and the flies were still there but the food items on the table were different. Today, my husband went to get a sub, he saw a bug crawling under the bread. He left and went somewhere else to eat. Also, the food in the deli area looks terrible.... Like it has been there for days at 12pm. The Deli area is terrible. Also, there have been 4 times where I have picked up items, that are expired. The staff is mostly nice but the deli...not so much.

Customer service was not good. Surprised by the lack therof. My 85 year old friend needed assistance loading water and the young man stocking looked at her and exclaimed " let me move this cart out of your way". Did not assist ot offer to as he continued to stock Publix brand water. I wish that I could give Zero Stars!

I travel for work and I eat a pubsub for lunch nearly daily. So I’m grabbing a sub from a different Publix location everytime. Today I stopped here and the lady named Madison made my sub better than anyone has. Publix as a corporation should consider having Madison train all Publix sub makers on her process. Not to mentions she made in almost 60-120 seconds. 😂

We were traveling, stopped in for a quick bite. Everyone was friendly, my dad & I ordered the chille, which was completely tasteless, my mum's burger had enough ketchup/mayo on it to render it tasteless & soggy..Oh Wendys pls try again..great location so your food should be good as well!

My husband and I just had the worst experience ever in Publix. My husband was using the keypad to pay for our groceries and the young cashier whose name tagged displayed ASH started continuously rolling her eyes at him like he was taking too long for her. So I looked her right in the face and she started rolling her eyes at me as well followed by a fake smile. At which point I stated what is the problem and then requested to speak with a supervisor. Spoke with the supervisor who did apologize and I expressed to the supervisor things could have went left if I was in a bad mood. As I stated that cashier didn’t know me and for her to display that kind of customer service I could have reacted in a very bad way. These young individuals working in customer service need to retrained on QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

This is by far not only the best supermarket I've ever shopped at, but the only establishment I've been in where the entire staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Many of them go above and beyond in their service, including the pharmacy. They're quick to offer their help if they notice you might be struggling to find something. You really can feel the community & family oriented mindset while shopping here. The place is always clean and well maintained and there's a very nice selection of products, even organic. The only issue I've seen at all is that occasionally stock in some items can be low for a while, but I have a feeling that's more of a regional supply chain issue. Couldn't recommend this store enough.

Exceptionally clean and far more orderly and the employees are kind and diligent. This marketplace doesn’t have random booths in the middle of the aisle, hindering the movement of carts and customers. Their sandwiches are always fresh and flavorful and they are truthful about what’s inside your meal as opposed to other companies who that their meat is 100% authentic.
