I had a appointment in Atlanta at the Pep Boys on Piedmont Road in Buckhead, my appointment was for 8:00 AM, after getting off work at 3:30 AM, I got a couple hours of sleep. I arrived at this location at 7:40 AM, went inside spoke with a gentleman name Eric who was short of being rude to me, never looking up just told me it would be a couple of hours, I stated even with an appointment, he stated yes😳🤦🏽♀️. I then sat around waiting on my name to be called, they never called my name, I then call the number and asked Eric how long is my wait. Eric proceeding to ask my name and what did I need done, I explained again a light bulb change, Eric then told me oh I forgot to sign you in, for that car it would be a 3 hour wait 😳😳😳😡😡😡😳😡😳. I drove off. I then called the riverdale branch, made an appointment for Friday at 1:00 PM, got there a little early 12:40, I was out by 1:00 my appointment time paid less money then I was quoted in Atlanta. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Every service they've done on my car has been high quality. I usually book my appointments online but they call and let me know in advance if they will not be able to take my car in and work with me to reschedule. The waiting area is nice and tidy as well.

This is my 4th time going to a pep boys- however my first time at this location. I had my car towed there due to it not cranking and was told it was the fuel pump. I was quoted $1100, I got this same service performed by a Pepboys a few months prior and was not charged this much. When I was asked for the man who wrote up my work order, Robert , to return to me my previous receipt so I can compare the prices no one was able to locate it. I asked them to price match the fuel assembly and was told the price they gave me for the part alone ($619) was the lowest they could find it. I had to contact the previous Pepboys I attended and have them email me a copy of my previous receipt and was charged less than half for that part. When I showed them my email receipt with proof they were overcharging me, they suddenly populated a new receipt that was only $825. Almost $300 less than the one they tried to originally charge me! Further more, they told me the car would take 2 hours and after we went back and forth with them about the price they took 5 hours ! After receiving the car , 30 minutes later the car gave the exact same problem and shut down while I was driving it ! When I called the Pepboys and asked them what was what , the same man Robert informed me there was nothing he can do and that I would have to get it towed over back to pepboys and they would look at it in the morning. Upon further inspection, I noticed they didn’t even properly attach my back seat which is what they access to attach the fuel assembly. Very Unprofessional! I got my car towed back over to pepboys on (3/5/22) and when I arrived (3/6/22) which is a Sunday, I was told that they do not have any mechanics on Sunday’s they only perform oil changes. Robert did not inform me of this and knew that I was depending on them to fix my car this weekend as I am from a different state and needed to report back to work Monday morning. I have contacted customer service but consistently get run arounds in regards to how something like this is able to happen under managements nose!

Maleke and Jonny, the managers, were very friendly and personable when I first walked in this morning. I was reluctant at first cause no woman wants to be hassled to spend more money than what they anticipated. Even though their mechanics had a hard time at hearing direction smh, Maleke and Jonny made sure it was correct for me and still remained professional. I recommend this place 10 out of 10 and looking forward to coming back for more work on my car. Thank you all so much!

Thanks to Maleke Smith. He was great. I made an online appointment the day before, I needed to make some changes to the tires I selected. I called the next morning. He took time to explain each tire, the price, and the warranty. I finally found the perfect tires for my budget. It didn't take long at all. I was in and out in just a little over and hour. (Just like he said). He even assisted with installing my rear passenger light bulb. Overall, great service. I told him I would leave my review as I'm glad to leave this with the company. Great, thanks again!
