How is it when I have a complaint about the new "manager" and call corporate that have THAT MANAGER call me back? Of course he won't agree he has done anything wrong. I had such a great experience with Rent A Center when I first started using them 7 months ago. However, now it is awful. They even went so far as to change a contract with me, on a USED couch and try to charge me full retail price. They won't "fix" that until my past due items are paid. (Which I tried to pay over the phone to Kenneth and Destiny and they said they could not take the payment) Long story short, RUN from this store until they get someone in who can clean up the messes. And, Brian, if you are the one replying... it is incredibly unprofessional to call the person who made a complaint about you and tell them you are the only one who will be able to talk to me. Surely, you have a boss. Edit: I received a call from Nick, a regional manager. He took the time to listen, and we came up with a solution to the issue in just a few minutes. Good customer service goes a long way. Unfortunately I have decided not to use the rent a center in Champaign for any future business I am happy a few good employees remain.

Returned merchandise I rented. They received it and they still call and harrass me. I have written a complaint letter to their corporate office. The store recieved a copy of this letter and still proceed to call me. I wouldn't do business with them.

One of the Managers of the Champaign Illinois store really Makes Me Feel like I would rent anything RAC offers. Gage Winchester whom I affectionately nicknamed "12 Gage" can explain the compensation package, product line and the payment structure of any product in the store. I have successfully Leased to own Furniture and Electronis. Mr. Winchester is a credit and is Laser Focused to make my experience worth every dollar I spend. After I rent I know what I would like to buy.

Went in here with a friend because she had to make a payment and I was very disappointed with the store and the franchise in general. They are overcharging for everything and it seems like you're going to be in unlimited payments. And don't be late on a payment because they threatened to come and take your stuff immediately. Life happens sometimes you run a little short but they don't care.

The staff are super friendly always go out of their to help me with any kind of service I have a rent for them for a while because of that time I couldn't afford it . I called him I told me I had a problem with my TV that I bought from them a long time ago.. and the remotes not working they told me to come in and get a remote for my Sony TV and they didn't charge me.. Because I've been a long time customer at Rent-A-Center.. I'm sorry for everybody's bad experience at rental center but I've never had a bad experience they've always treated me good. Friendly service and go out of your way to help you..

I will never make another purchase at a store that undermines their management personnel. It's the people who make the store and keeping employees who can't do their job because they fear a lawsuit? You lost someone who was good at what they did, who actually cared and did others' jobs because they aren't qualified. At the end of the day, your loss. You don't deserve him!

Worst renting experience ever. They hold me and my family with two small children more than for an hour and still were not satisfied with my passport, SSN, 4 people who I refered to, my lease contract, my Intel badge, cash on my account. Why they are collecting so much personal info for two worthless things which hardly worth more than $1500 (washer and dryer). Banks give thouthands with much less effort, Hertz leases cars with just few documents. Is it usual for USA or just we were unlucky with this one?
