I highly recommend the Target Lincoln Park store located on north Clark Street, south of Diversey (former site of Best Buy and longtime CTA Limits street car and bus garage). Specifically what I like about this store is that it is squeaky clean, the price point and inventory is very competitive, most of the staff I have encountered are personable, helpful yet unobtrusive, are good communicators and make the customer feel valued, and there is a free parking garage below the store! Staff go out of their way to assist you—when is the last time you were in a retail store where the staff was available and interested in helping customers? All of this doesn’t happen mysteriously. Kudos to the Target management for creating this positive environment. I realize that to create this customer centric environment costs Target a lot of money and yet it sets it apart and on a higher level than its competition. Target is on to something….let’s hope their mission succeeds! It’s a pleasure to shop there!

This store may not have the inventory of larger ones but it is close and usually has what I need. Customer service is great. The produce is fresh, bananas are always cheap, and they have a nice selection of frozen fruits I like to keep on hand. The old CVS/Pharmacy I used to go to when it was down the block is now inside this store. I have never worked with a pharmacist as attentive and helpful as Gio Jarvis, the manager. I also have the option of getting a Target $5 coupon instead of a CVS one when I have filled enough prescriptions.

Pretty typical Target. The music they play is comically terrible though.. noticeably worse than any Target or other establishment I’ve ever been to. Makes me want to finish my shopping and leave ASAP. Idk how the workers can listen to it 8 hours a day without going insane.

When my girlfriend and I were at the register and having difficulty with the card reader at the self-checkout, Marla checked in on us and brought us to the front of the store where she scanned in our items and got the card to finally work after a few more tries in addition to price-matching what we bought for the inconvenience! Throughout the whole stressful process, she reassured us and had a very pleasant, friendly attitude the whole time without ever doubting my girlfriend and I! We will continue to return to this store and hope to see Marla again!

Lincoln Park Target 2650 N Clark St, Chicago, IL 60614 Come here if you value customer service! The staff is efficient and friendly. The first time that an employee said "Thank you for shopping at Target!" I thought it was a joke since I never heard that before. This Target has employees who proactively offer help. Walk you to item locations or call someone who knows the area better and can help you. There is no wait time in line! Self serve and customer service will finish your purchase from 30 seconds to 2 minutes on a busy day. Then, they might be saying "Thank you for shopping at Target!" while you are running to your next errand. I didn't even mention the smiles from the employees and them seeing if someone is available online.

This went from being a fine, normal target to being one of the worst I’ve ever been to. They’ve been doing “renovations” for over two months now which in other words means they switch around the aisles every week and they’re constantly out of stock on several items. Also their employees always seem to be clueless.

Customer service is dead. I got to the checkout only to find that the bag of oatmeal I had was already opened. Luckily, I hadn't scanned it yet. The employee who was there to address problems for people in the self checkout line came over, and I told him the problem. I asked him if he could get an unopened bag for me, and he told me he didn't know where it was. So I told him when to find it. Then, he said, "Oh! There is a guy over here who was going to get something near there." The Target guy then walked over to another customer and asked him if he would go get me a bag of oatmeal! ANOTHER CUSTOMER!! Some of the employees at this store are very helpful, but this guy was completely clueless. After I got home I discovered the bag of flour I bought was also already open. Not sure what's going on there...

Rude and unfriendly staff, worst Target experience ever. I was there for a pick-up order, and I was unaware of the pet policy. When I went in there myself later to pick up the order, while making eye contacts with me, the staffs are all hesitant and didn't want to help me with my pick-up orders when there was no other customers around. I had to lock eye and confront one of the staff to help me with my order. Very uncomfortable, will not go to this Target again.

A small Target with all the same departments, just not a lot of section in each! But they have wine and liquor and a pharmacy!
