10 Best clothing store in Chicago, Illinois (IL) 2024

Pretty convenient location! Love coming here always find it pretty well organized and clean. Customer service is always excellent. They don’t provide drive up service but you can pick up. No parking is provided. ~Amalia

When you are looking for a good place to go shopping Target is your place. They have pretty much a little bit of everything. They also have really affordable pricing and decent quality. I can always find things I need for clothing, electronics, office supplies and food. Target is an awesome store. I've had a much better experience at this store than at others. ~Gabby

I normally don't review corporate retail stores, but I have nothing but positive things to say about this Target location. It's clean and staffed with friendly, accommodating employees, who are happy to help when you have a question. The Target pick-up process is efficient and is very helpful if you have a busy schedule and need someone to gather the items for you. Prices are reasonable and I'm sure on par with other locations in the city. I'll continue shopping here for essentials. ~Addison

clean.....fast check out but selection is dim....probably due to half the store being cut off....but great sock and purse collection...... infants section isn't worth going in I just bought the good 12 items they had for a baby shower today....... ~Ann

I absolutely LOVE this Burlington location. This location houses some great finds. The women's clothing department needs to be expanded but does have unique pieces. The shoe department at this location used to be well replenished with very nice styles but the quality and quantity has definitely changed. The accessory section also needs help in terms of replenishment and variety. This location has heavy four traffic so if you "see" something you have been seeking you must get it then, trying to return to purchase it later is not a great choice. For those of you who may not know, they also have "lay-away." Very ideal when needing and on a budget. They carry name brand colognes for men and women too. The Home Goods carried by this location is superb and has great finds that can also be placed in lay-away. This store tends to stay clean and shoppable, never messy, that's a plus. The check at process can be daunting at times from long lines but the unique and affordable finds will compel you to simply wait your turn. Burlington also has a loyalty program that will allow for a longer return/exchange time and that's a nice perk. When you do have the time, stop by from time to time as you will find something trendy, unique and different. ~Deatria

I haven’t been in this location since it was an Old Navy and I have to say that this is a great replacement for that store. It’s not the exact same merchandise it seems to be more of a fast fashion/H&M feel… But the price point is good and the selection is very open to many different styles which I really like. They even have quite a bit of home decor which is fun. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re visiting Chicago or if you live here and just want some unique clothing that won’t break your bank. ~Mike

What a friendly, fun location. I usually don’t rate Targets but this one is perfect size for me. Be warned, this is a small format location but if you’re like me and usually find you’re self lost In the large locations, then this is the shopping experience for you! They carry most of the everyday essentials you could ask for. I give this location a 5⭐️ Jerry gives it 5⭐️ BTW Jerry (the pigeon) didn’t drive here, he flew here so he doesn’t know what everyone is talking about when it comes to parking. ~Mike

Super convenient location considering I am located less than a five minute walk. Easy to navigate around the store to find what I need. However, the customer service associates stand at the self checkout registers and socialize instead of acknowledging the customers. Apparently this is a standard practice at this particular location. ~Daniel

I highly recommend the Target Lincoln Park store located on north Clark Street, south of Diversey (former site of Best Buy and longtime CTA Limits street car and bus garage). Specifically what I like about this store is that it is squeaky clean, the price point and inventory is very competitive, most of the staff I have encountered are personable, helpful yet unobtrusive, are good communicators and make the customer feel valued, and there is a free parking garage below the store! Staff go out of their way to assist you—when is the last time you were in a retail store where the staff was available and interested in helping customers? All of this doesn’t happen mysteriously. Kudos to the Target management for creating this positive environment. I realize that to create this customer centric environment costs Target a lot of money and yet it sets it apart and on a higher level than its competition. Target is on to something….let’s hope their mission succeeds! It’s a pleasure to shop there! ~Chilthr
