Best Buy has good items to buy. The staff does work hard and the location is good. The problems with Best Buy are the Geek Squad and their customer service. The Geek Squad does not fix everything and if you do get a refund with them your Geek Squad yearly service is terminated. The customer service on the phone is terrible. I ask the representative can she transfer me to the Geek Squad on Roosevelt in Chicago and she said she could not do it. I would have to go to the store for them to tend to me. Best Buy is a okay store but not a really good store like it was back in the day. ~Paul

Pretty convenient location! Love coming here always find it pretty well organized and clean. Customer service is always excellent. They don’t provide drive up service but you can pick up. No parking is provided. ~Amalia

When you are looking for a good place to go shopping Target is your place. They have pretty much a little bit of everything. They also have really affordable pricing and decent quality. I can always find things I need for clothing, electronics, office supplies and food. Target is an awesome store. I've had a much better experience at this store than at others. ~Gabby

I normally don't review corporate retail stores, but I have nothing but positive things to say about this Target location. It's clean and staffed with friendly, accommodating employees, who are happy to help when you have a question. The Target pick-up process is efficient and is very helpful if you have a busy schedule and need someone to gather the items for you. Prices are reasonable and I'm sure on par with other locations in the city. I'll continue shopping here for essentials. ~Addison

I went into this store and was greeted enthusiastically and cordially. I had them answer some questions for me about both iPhone and MacBook Pro. My questions were answered fully and adequately. I was walked through increasing my iCloud storage in order to back my phone up to the cloud. We also looked at how much a new MacBook Pro with my desired specifications would be. That’s why I deducted a star, because the prices seemed astronomical, making it very difficult to upgrade my laptop. I have a 2012 MacBook Pro. It has gotten me a lot of mileage and helped produce some great music, but even after hours on the phone and in-store with Apple Support, it still runs very slowly and puts a dent in my effort to be creative and spontaneous. I hope I can save up the money to buy their new MacBook Pro, but that might not be for a while. In the meantime, I am stuck with a very slow computer and that is a challenge. ~David

I went here for help with two laptops. My Geek Squad technician Gardenia was extremely helpful in assisting me navigate my options. She not only got me the best deal possible, but also made sure my laptop was fixed. I'm very glad I bought the Geek Squad extended warranty. The store itself is very nice. It was clean; selection was great; and employees were helpful. I've picked up a few online orders at this location. They've been efficient and organized each time. ~Ciara

What a friendly, fun location. I usually don’t rate Targets but this one is perfect size for me. Be warned, this is a small format location but if you’re like me and usually find you’re self lost In the large locations, then this is the shopping experience for you! They carry most of the everyday essentials you could ask for. I give this location a 5⭐️ Jerry gives it 5⭐️ BTW Jerry (the pigeon) didn’t drive here, he flew here so he doesn’t know what everyone is talking about when it comes to parking. ~Mike

Super convenient location considering I am located less than a five minute walk. Easy to navigate around the store to find what I need. However, the customer service associates stand at the self checkout registers and socialize instead of acknowledging the customers. Apparently this is a standard practice at this particular location. ~Daniel

I highly recommend the Target Lincoln Park store located on north Clark Street, south of Diversey (former site of Best Buy and longtime CTA Limits street car and bus garage). Specifically what I like about this store is that it is squeaky clean, the price point and inventory is very competitive, most of the staff I have encountered are personable, helpful yet unobtrusive, are good communicators and make the customer feel valued, and there is a free parking garage below the store! Staff go out of their way to assist you—when is the last time you were in a retail store where the staff was available and interested in helping customers? All of this doesn’t happen mysteriously. Kudos to the Target management for creating this positive environment. I realize that to create this customer centric environment costs Target a lot of money and yet it sets it apart and on a higher level than its competition. Target is on to something….let’s hope their mission succeeds! It’s a pleasure to shop there! ~Chilthr
