Great place, very helpful. Took in an old bike needed a new tube, it was fixed in 5 minutes and got recommendations for where to ride. Owner said I could park in his lot and gave me directions for a fun ride down to Lake Michigan. I went right out door and had a great ride. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Fred builds the best bikes hands down. Friendly staff and very dependable. Would recommend this place for both new and experienced riders. Also, if you're looking for new custom wheels this is the place to be.

We walked in ten minutes before closing with a decent idea of what my husband wanted. Fred immediately recommended the ideal bike, identified the cheaper option just in case, waived off a more expensive option because it was more bike than he would have needed, and had us on our way in fifteen minutes. We also got a new bike helmet because we hadn’t realized how old and broken my husband’s was. A+ experience - we will be back!

I called earlier today to schedule brakes bleeding. I was told ok it will be done in a week. I brought my Madone and Fred (the owner) took a quick look. He decided that it’s going to take only a few minutes. He started working on front brake that was never adjusted properly by one of Madison bike store (where I purchased the bike last fall). It turned out that there were other screws requiring tightening (I love those Madison Trek store falks). Once I finish rehabing my surgical shoulder I should be good to finally enjoy my new bike. Once again, Fred was very nice, knowledgeable and saved me time (no need to leave a bike for minor issue). I highly recommend Fred and his Lifestyle Cycle😀👍🏻🚴🙏

Lifestyle Cycle is a phenomenal bike shop! Fred and the entire team are great to work with. I entrusted them with my gravel bike after riding 2,000 miles on the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route and they did a stellar job rebuilding it. I also worked with them to pack and unpack my bike before and after a bikepacking trip to Arizona. I live 20 minutes away, but I prefer this shop because they are family owned, knowledgeable, and create a strong sense of community with weekly rides, etc. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Lifestyle Cycle. I’m not going to lie 😅 I was very nervous going there by myself with my 2 year old. I wanted to fix an old bike my father got for me about 10-11 years ago. Matt, was very honest and upfront. He recognized that the bike was cheap and not worth fixing. I was fully aware, but his confirmation helped me get out of my denial phase. The fact that he took the time to check my trashy bike says a lot of this business, and how much they care about providing quality costumer service. I decided to buy a new bike, and he helped me select a new bike that was perfect for a baby wagon. He was very kind and helpful the whole time not only to me but my toddler too. Matt helped me with loading the new bike in my trunk. Which was a lot of help because my child fell asleep. As a woman I feel comfortable that a place like this is available for young mothers, and even the single ladies that need bike services. Prices are fair for quality products. I’ll be coming back to get a bike for my daughter, and whenever my new bike needs maintenance 😊

Decided to check out what they had. I’m no athlete and I’m not a “bike person” but I felt welcomed here. Didn’t feel judged, unlike other bike stores I’ve been in. It was nice and so I purchased a Giant Roam 3. Love it. Great service, very friendly and they truly know their stuff. Absolutely coming back for my kids bike.

Life Cycle is the best - helpful, professional, high quality and customer focused. I live 20 minutes drive away and pass many bike stores to get to them - both larger chains and family owned business - but none compare to the way Life Cycle provides help and service. There is no other bike store that I will go to. They recently went way out of their way for me to check out shifters/brakes and then to replace a cassette. They were nothing short of great. I have stopped by on rides where others had mechanical issues and they dropped everything to help us get back out on the road. They have me as a loyal customer for life and I cannot say enough good things about them.

I had an excellent experience with lovely friendly and helpful staff! As soon as a staff saw me in the parking lot, she greeted me and wanted to help me out. She assisted me very actively and kindly even from the parking lot to the store. She took my bike to the mechanic. He repaired my bike diligently, gladly and incredibly. I am grateful for his help and the whole team at the cute and neat bike shop! Absolutely I will come back this shop and I recommend this place for all of your bike needs. This weekend I'll bike with my friends in Libertyville. I will talk about "Lifestyle Cycle" to them as well. lol Thank you! :)

I went here to get a cable repaired. I can't express how happy I am with the service, the interaction, and the easy whole repair process was. I was given clear details on what was going to be repaired, and what was going to happen. We also got a standard tune up. The bike looks like it is brand new. Everything was done in one day. One day. While this may not be standard, I apprecaited the speed and the honest, upfront candor the staff showed. They told me right away what was needed, and what the time frame would be. Wow. I will be going here for all my cycling needs. My wife and I have road bikes that we use on the libertyville trails to old school, adler, and independence grove. Lifestyle Cycle now has all of our cycling business. Honestly, I couldn't be happier.
