Shell

I’ve been here a few times before but today Cashier named Julie was extremely unprofessional and rude. Took a while for her to help me and when she did her customer service was HORRIBLE. Take your business elsewhere. Stay out of here ! Not worth it. Owner needs to hire better cashiers. ~Jasmine

Comerica Bank

Kevin the branch manager in k-town on Wilshire and Hobart branch was not professional at all. I’ve never been to a bank that treats their customers in such unprofessional manners. Potential new customers out there !! Please be aware of that you ought to know this is not a proper and trustworthy branch to deal with as long as the guy like Kevin is working as a manager. ~J

Comerica Bank

TERRIBLE BANK!! I was experiencing financial hardship and called ahead to be pro-active about my scenario to find some options with the bank to work with. Spoke with Susy and she was TERRIBLE, gave me no help and just kept reading "bank technicalities" and showed little care for my situation. I am financially sound again only to find out my bank account was closed. Unfortunately I was hospitalized for 3 weeks in September so of course I wasn't available to chat about my account so they closed it. Called again to speak with them to see if there was anything we can do and instead of remorse or care that I tried to be proactive and I was hospitalized Susy again simply said they are sending my balance due to collections and my account is closed. TERRIBLE BANK AND REPRESENTATIVES best to avoid them for any of your business needs. I was generating almost $500k a year since 2017 and have little support or relationship with this bank, avoid them and this branch specifically like the plague!! ~Naomi

Shell

Pump number 8 was broken (it didn’t stop delivering gas when my tank was full, spilling the extra gas everywhere, including on my brand new car’s paint and wheels). What’s worse, when I went inside to tell the attendant about the faulty pump and to request a partial refund, he straight up lied and tried tricking me into thinking I would get refunded but ended up doing nothing about it at all and blaming me for not knowing how to pump gas, lol Shell customer service hotline was not helpful either, so I had to end up submitting a claim with my credit card company. Avoid this station like the plague ~Chris

Chase Bank

Worst bank ever. Can't execute a simple wire fund. Worked with the assistant VP at bank personally. No competent support, untrained overseas help lines, and a refusal from the wire department to contact me directly after I was told there was a "repair" issue on the back-end. What does that even mean? Generally received the "it's not my job" and I can't help with that from everyone involved. Clearly Chase has gotten too big to care about customer service. ~W

Citi

I’ve been with Citibank for nearly 11 years now. I’ve conducted business with them and have had numerous transactions done with tellers, bankers, management, etc.. I’ve always been treated fair and have Citibank has always met the level of satisfaction to me. However, this review isn’t based just on “Citibank” it’s based on the Branch Manager/VP: Josephine Rivera. I was referred to Josephine by a personal banker for a transfer. Upon arrival I was greeted with the upmost respect. Not only did she make me feel as though I’m a valued client, but she made me feel as though I’m “family” and it was genuine. I don’t know how Citibank treats their employees, but I hope she’s treated well. She brings respect, integrity, and value to this brand. It was more than a please working with you today Josephine. I appreciate everything. You’re assessment is worth more than the 5 stars provided by Yelp. I honestly mean that. ~David
