11 Best furniture store in Stockton, California (CA) 2024

My wife went in to purchase bedroom furniture. After picking one out, she added an accent chair for the living room and spent a little over $1,200. Well, my wife was on the way home when she received a call from one of the staff that there was a mistake. The staff told my wife to pay a difference of $200 for the accent chair when they come to deliver it. The staff undercharged her and asked my wife to pay for the mistake. Knowing my wife’s thought process, she didn’t want the staff to lose their job. But at the same time, it was the staff’s fault. I contacted the owner and explained the situation. After a few heated and angry exchanges, we settled on $100. Yes, I know I didn’t have to. But I hope that in the future, they will pay more attention to detail on a contract that clearly wrote, “PAID IN FULL” at the bottom; therefore, closing the transaction. It was $200. I can’t believe they’d argue with their customers over that. Unprofessional. As a small business owner such as myself, I’d take the loss so I don’t lose a customer and gain a bad reputation. It’s the quality of the business and not so much the quantity. It will be our last visit. ~Fullstar

I was helped by Michael today and he gave great service! Very professional, friendly, and understanding of my sleep needs/budget. It was a very pleasant experience. He helped me find the perfect mattress. Very knowledgeable staff. I couldn't be more excited! I can't wait to have it delivered next week. Great sales for Labor Day going on, go check it out! ~Angie

Royal Furniture is a very nice clean place the main man in charge is always very polite and respectful if for any reason you have a problems with furniture they make sure they fix it for you there GOAL is to make you happy and sale quality furniture at a good price so much respec. I've purchased Furniture from them over the years and I've always been satisfied. I just recently purchased some more furniture so I only give them four stars until I get my furniture and inspected it's been a little over a year since about anything else so I want to make sure it stays they stay Royal and loyal to the customers. This is August 1st 2022 you asked me to post stuff but you don't separate the two anyhow Royal furniture number two is always been great the owner is always wonderful and any problems he always fixes them whether it's in his control out of it we always make a solution there's always a resolution for everything so yes continue getting your furniture from there and his great quality also ~Frances

Terrible experience in all of my home furniture buying experience. They didn’t communicate, didn’t listen, weren’t prepared, lacked sense, unprofessional, poor customer service, lackadaisical and ended with them damaging the structure of my landlord building. They didn’t call me to quickly take care of this matter and have the nerve to ask for estimates. Had me wait for my refund. This company is trash and I see it comes from the top because Steve Lavender is the big boss but he’s terrible too! I had to call them, no one called me. I didn’t do the damage and I was honest and upfront about my building. They told me and showed me it was in a box and they would assemble the furniture after getting it into my building. I wish I could give 0 stars. ~Irma

Silvia was my salesperson. She was great! I found a couch that I loved!! She spent lots of time with me as we even searched for a love seat or chairs that I had envisioned. I was looking for a particular color, style fabric..Though we didn’t find that, we bought a beautiful couch and marble dining room table, and she helped me get a great price. I ended up buying chairs somewhere else. But, I came back the next day to buy the matching marble end table. She was awesome!! ~Wendy

Bad service lying to make sales. They have you sign paperwork when item is still in box so you can’t confirm it is damaged or not. After getting home and opening box my item was damaged. Edit to add: after speaking with them they are exchanging it, it’ll just take another week. So three weeks total since we placed order. ~Karley

It was a very different experience for me shopping at this particular store because the sales person was not rigid and just stuck to one price , they were willing to work with me and he actually understood my needs and for that I’ll be forever grateful . Shopping at a store for several household items on a fixed budget is hard in itself, so to have salesperson’s to actually help you achieve that goal was an amazing experience. Being able to ask for discounts and have them actually discuss, consider and then make it happen was and will be a forever blessing to me. Wonderful place to shop for household stuff n camping gears. We bought a very light table for camping. Roomy. It folds .. so easy to pack in our vehicle. Love this .. And we have another shaker one we bought many yrs ago ... That we use as night stand inside the tent ... Put our light n books or magazines to read ~M

This location is great especially the sales people in furniture they are always helpful I cannot say the same for all locations but this particular store is awesome ~Brandi
