Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Samantha Hunt was amazing! This was one of my first times renting a van and Samantha made the process very easy. Working with her, I could tell that she was very knowledgeable and experienced. During the rental, our vehicle was unfortunately vandalized. I was so anxious to return the van to the agency since I had never experienced something like this and I was nervous to see how the staff would react. But the first thing that Samantha asked was if everybody was okay. The way she responded to and handled the situation put me at ease, as I could tell she prioritized her customer's safety over the condition of the vehicle. Samantha is a great representative for her company and I would definitely rent from them again. ~Kevin

Truck Rental Center at the Home Depot

Horrible experience. New fridge died 29 days after installation. Store manager simply didn't answer at least six attempts to call. We had purchased the 5-year protection program. Protection program people told us that store manager could get us a loaner until the fridge was fixed, but we never could reach her. We've been living out of a cooler ever since, with no end in sight (repairs are handled by Whirlpool, and it took them a week even to get the first assessment done.) ~Anne

Gumba's Italian Restaurant

This was one of the best Italian restaurant I been so far, fun outdoor seating, friendly waiters, it took awhile for them to take our order but it was worth the wait. Bowl of clam chowder, salad and garlic bread was just okay but the pasta was unique. Cajun linguine seafood pasta was fantastic, little kick of spicy sauce with scallops, shrimp, squid and mushrooms were just perfectly seasoned. Tilapia over pasta was also delicious, garlicky and buttery pasta with capers, perfectly cooked noodles. They also gave orange sherbet as desert to clear our pallets, great dinner after work! They are also dog friendly! ~Young

CVS

Someone needs to fix the customer service at this store. We called before coming in to get passport photos but upon arrival we were told on both the occasions that the store was “understaffed”. Above all the only person available in the store was rude. We understood his frustration but it’s not fair to vent on customers. ~Meenakshi

CVS

I’ve been to the CVS easily 100 times. Right off the top I’d like to say the problems with the store are almost certainly attributed to greed at the corporate level. This is a industrywide problem and CVS should do better. I can say without a doubt that over the last year the conditions inside the store have deteriorated. I deal with the pharmacy a lot and while they are usually very friendly, it is very often that not only me having issues but other people in the line with me are vocalizing theirs as well. The least of which is for CVS to call you incessantly about prescriptions you need to pick up but then upon arriving, waiting in line, are told “Oh we didn’t fill that yet can you come back in an hour?” Today I went to pick up a script and the Pharmacist had apparently ghosted the store manager. No call no show. The only reason you do that is if you’re sending a message to management. Also the store was trashed, like a Dollar Tree. Stuff all over the isles and piled on shelves. Sad these corporations can’t take 2% of the CEO bonus and make their stores nice to be at. ~Raylon

CVS

The pharmacist was really helpful after I moved across the country and was able to get my meds transferred and filled. I really appreciated having one less thing to worry about. This was my first experience but they seem reliable to me ~Max

Bridgestone

I’ve dealt with auto repair from SF to San Jose and these folks are tops. First of all, they picked up the phone!! I needed a tire leak repaired which they did on the spot. I was also able to order up tire replacements and have them installed the next day! There were 3-7 day waits at other service centers and at double the cost. It is definitely worth the drive for this level of auto care. ~MARC
