ARF is a great place to adopt pets. I found this 3 month old puppy on petfinder and got a reply from staff the next day. The place is sparkly clean and all the staffs are friendly and welcoming. They gave me plenty time to socialize with the puppy and patiently answered my questions. Needless to say I adopted this cute little girl right away. Before leaving, ARF staffs provided many documents and resources to help me learn and train this puppy. ~Yue

When I arrived the staff was talking among themselves and didn't even take the time to greet. I waited and they told me that they were busy. You could tell they were not having a conversation with a client. Then, I was told that in order for them to help me they needed to locate my account when I was told by T-Mobile that all I needed was to simply drop my labeled box and get a receipt. I left and the next day drove to UPS which was fast and easy. ~Itzel

I was hesitant to order with so many not so nice reviews. I'm glad I did! Placed my order online, accidentally requested the wrong date. I called and asked if there was any way they could deliver it sooner and the super nice lady who answered said "sure, we can deliver it tomorrow". YAY! Arrangement was so super cute. Adorable store with excellent, well-curated books mostly for kids and teens. They also do a lot of events like author readings and collabs with local businesses - a true community establishment! When I was last in there, they had a lovely little bake sale pop-up in one corner of the store, which was wonderfully convenient as I had to pick up some treats anyway for an event later. The two owners are both very knowledgable and are always spot-on with their recommendations. Over the years I've been shopping there, they've been able to rise to the occasion of such asks as "I have a budget of $100 that I'd like to spend on a starter set of books for newborn so please put something together," or "my 3-year-old loves narwhals and Dungeons & Dragons - what do you recommend?" Love love love that they're indie and truly care about their customers and community, and are so thoughtful about their selections!! Plus the place is super cute! ~Yiyi

David M Brian is part of the McCaulou's Department Store Family. It is a wonderful gift store that has wide varieties and lots of fun stuff. The selection is not as broad as it used to be before the store moved into the smaller space. The staff can be a bit slow to help and respond, but good help is hard to find these days. Lots of fun gift ideas and even good stuff for your own home. Have fun shopping. ~Nonie

Discovered this place a few months ago, been going every couple weeks. pros: clean with good quality items, free 1 hour parking across the street, good cause. cons: they cant seem to get their point of sale working right, always seem to have a problem with their "loyalty" system, i encounter "issues" each time i check out. was cool with it but until recently was blatantly told by the cashier that it's my fault because i'm not punching my phone number correctly. i respect these volunteers but they really need some training on dealing with a variety of customers. not going back. ~jaye

Rizwan and his crew have been my computer guys for more than 20 years. I'm self-employed working on my computer so having people this good and reliable has been a lifesaver. CCI's done all my computer maintenance and repair and they built the desktop computer I use. That computer is better than anything I could have bought for the same price.
