ExamOne

Watch out with you need a blood draw. One of the ExamOne’s phlebotomist who made my left arm tingle when I bent or moved my left arm with strain. It was happened on 2/7/22. The lady came to my house to get the blood draw. When the lady inserted the needle into my left arm, I felt like an electric shock went through my arm. It was so painful which I had never experienced in my life. I had blood draw every year at Kaiser Permanente without a problem. After the blood draw, I felt tingle and electric shock sensation scattered my lower arm when I bent or moved my left arm with strain. When I touched the injection area, I also felt tingle and electric shock sensation scattered to my lower arm. I thought it would go away in few days. But it’s been more than 3 weeks. It has very little or no improvement. I think the lady damaged my nerve. And I am afraid that it will be forever or getting worse. I complained to Ashley Chen from ExamOne. She was apologetic but didn’t come out with any solution to address my issue. I asked her to give me the name of the phlebotomist but she didn’t. Now I experience the tingle every day not knowing if it will go away. So I decided to write a review to let everyone know about it. So if you really need to use ExamOne for blood draw, make sure you take a picture of the phlebotomist’s name badge just in case something happen to you. So you know who did it to you. ~Kelvin

Wells Fargo Bank

As someone who works in customer service, this was BY FAR the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my whole life. I walked in to break change for my job and the bank teller, CAROLYN, was rude beyond belief. She proceeded to huff and puff and portray her sour ways on to me and I will not tolerate that. She was rude, disrespectful, and gave side eye like you wouldn’t believe. I understand that we have bad days in this industry but putting your bad days on someone else is not okay especially in customer service. I hope she either retires, quits, or simply works behind the phone and does not have to deal with customers to their face as it was not pleasant nor welcoming. ~Jackie

Fremont Bank

I own three businesses and have been in the community for over thirty years. I wanted to open accounts in a smaller community bank. The man ( the assistant manager?) sitting at the desk would not open a business account for me although both the IRS issued EIN certificate, all personal documents and other bank accounts with same fictitious names from Chase were accompanying my documents. I am actually not sure what he wanted. He didn't know it himself either. Very inept and unprofessional. I walked out and went to another bank which happily took the documents and opened the accounts. ~Tara

Banana Republic - with Curbside Pickup

I came in to purchase a gift for my aunt. I found a great looking BR green pattern silk scarf. At the checkout. Mario the BR staff was very helpful and friendly. He took the time to thank me for coming in. He mentioned he is happy to wrap my gift. And he carefully enclosed it in a beautiful box lined with tissue. He was very efficient and I was able to quickly transact and be on my way. I know people like Mario don’t often get the recognition but I wanted to take the moment to do so. There is the sterile online 24/7 store. However I still value to personal face to face interaction being in BR “brick and mortar” because it’s an important part of the consumer shopping experience. Feeling the fabric. Being able to try things on. And also having in-person interaction with exemplary folks such as Mario at the Broadway Walnut Creek. Well done to Walnut Creek CA managers and staff! I will definitely return. ~Charles

CVS

I waited on hold for over 10 minutes to check an appointment since I didn't receive an email for the COVID booster appointment. CVS is just a mass pharmacy and doesn't have any customer service skills. I called customer service at 1-800-SHOP-CVS and I was hung up on twice, they asked me why I would call that number and I explained when I was making an appointment for my 5 year old to get COVID booster, the site told me to call and make the appointment. I can't get anyone to answer the phone and I just want to confirm the appointment before I drive an hour one-way to get the shot. ~Lindsey
