16 Best grocery store in Tampa, Florida (FL) 2024

I have to give a 3/5 stars regardless of how much I love Target. I’ve never had a bad experience with an employee, everyone has been friendly, but the stock in this store is another story. I am constantly finding that there are items listed as in stock on the app, then they are gone when I order or go to the store. It’s Russian roulette of when cat litter will be in stock or a specific soap, etc. If that issue was addressed then this would be the perfect place to shop! PS, bring back the garden center or do something with that large enclosure! Expand the stockroom or store. ~Harrison

I absolutely LOVE this target! The service is amazing! In the 31 years I’ve lived here, I have only run into 2 issues and surprisingly each time the same friendly customer service rep helped me and made the experience enjoyable! The worst walmart we have ever been too. We did a pickup order and they delayed it, then they had all these substitutions on it. But the wild part is when we went to pick up, there were people sitting for their orders for going on an 1hr. We were shocked. Tried calling pickup, no one answers. Tried calling the store, no answer. Like who in the world is in there not doing they job!? It’s pathetic. Never again.so then we went in, orders everywhere! employees standing there laughing it up. Then we finally talked to one girl, she had the nerve to say “y’all stuff right there” with an attitude, I asked her were they short staffed? And she ignored me and disappeared. Our order wasn’t even correct! We cancelled our order and left. I told the people in the pickup lot go in there and cancel. They ain’t working. Must be hard here for them. ~Day

This is my regular shopping spot and though I give it four stars instead of five because of the less than expansive selections, I do love this store, so that is my review. They have good prices and I'm 90% happy with the selections. The other 10% would cause the prices to be much more I'm sure. It is not a shopping spot meant for the affluent. ~Laura

I was at this Target location: 6295 W Waters Ave, Tampa, FL 33634 looking for specific cat litter and they were out of it. So, I inquired with a sales floor team member and he helped me with locating and ordering the product using Target Online. If not mistaken, the shipping / delivery was free based on how much you spent. Therefore, I ordered a few bags of the cat litter, since we're almost out and other locations have this same product on back-order for several weeks. Well it took about 3-4 days, including the weekend and the product finally just arrived. The packaging was in good shape, product undamaged, and it arrived as expected. I highly recommend ordering from Target Online and also remember when you are in the store to compare items to those on Target Online, since Target will give you the online pricing. ~William

This used to be a nice store, but it has become simply awful lately. It was all rearranged and it's impossible to navigate. They made the part with water and soft drinks longer than the rest of the aisles, so you simply bump into it if you don't pay attention. I mean, who does that? Who makes the aisles uneven? What is wrong with the designer? They also made the space between the aisles so small that you run into other people. On top of that, customer representatives who are supposed to put merchandize on shelves during the night (isn't that why walmart is no longer 24/7, so customer representatives restock at night?) are all over the place and very rude during the day. You can't move around this store! It takes hours to go and find everything with everyone so crammed together. I will avoid this place from now on. I live in the area, but luckily there are other choices. ~Anca

I guess you pay more when you are not Spanish. Sancohco was 7.99 and they charged me 8.99. But besides the mistake I am so happy to have sancocho available all week long, it was delicious! ~Larry

The meats omg are out of this world also the prices it's wonderful..if you speak Spanish iam sure it would be better.. lol but still love to by my meat at this store this location. It's clean don't smell like a meat market.. other Bravos I walk in and right back out cuz there filthy. Customer service was nice another customer had to translate but that's fine with me next time I'll just bring my PR. Husband.. now I said meat are priced great and fresh. Rest of the store is a little pricey... Still I love it. I'll just go to family dollar next door and buy most my staples.. ~Kathleen

This is a cool way to have multiple stores in one. You will have to park in a parking garage to get to this target. Once you are in there there is an airlock type of doors to get in. As soon as I walked in I was happily greeted by a amazing Target employee! That really set the tone of my shopping experience. We were able to find most of what we were looking for, but not everything. The store was clean and well organized. Once I checked out I had a great experience talking to one of the cashiers named Jamie. I've been to many targets but this one is definitely doing something right. Their employees here are sweet, kind and make the shipping experience very pleasurable. Definitely will come back. ~Ashleigh

I went to the Winn Dixie on Swann in Tampa, FL on 07/26/22 tonight and was going to buy groceries for my family my daughter is autistic and likes to eat a turkey lunchable while I shop and it keeps her calm and I purchase it when I check out tonight my daughter ate one that was molded and opened another one and was about to eat it and I noticed it completely covered in mood and black the package was not expired at all two out of the four I got had mold on them i went to the customer care booth where no one was to be found and then I see Janae walking I ask if she works there she ignored me then I asked again and she said I’m coming, I explained what happened she offered no apology and just had an annoyed look on her face as I’m explaining a scary situation for me because my nonverbal daughter just ate a moldy lunchable from their store she doesn’t say anything gets another person to say she is getting you a gift card gives me a $10 gift card and I ask for another manager because that is unacceptable behavior and follow up to the situation at hand the store manager apologized for her behavior and said there was nothing else they can do so I will take my experience to every social media platform so no one else will have to experience this situation ~Krystal
