14 Best convenience store in Springfield, Missouri (MO) 2024

After being charged a different price for the advertised price. A substantial up price. I spoke to the manager and showed her the item ands it's tag. She then removed the price tag . I asked if she would reimburse me, she said no. The problem had been taken care of when she took the tag down. Not customer service at it's best. I will not shop at this store again. ~Jamie

Holy biscuits, for the love of god, please stop putting olives on the veggie breakfast pizzas. I didn't ask for this, no one would ask for this. Olives do not taste good on breakfast pizza. They aren't even supposed to come with olives. ~Hannah

Bad gas! Put in just over 18 gallons in and it wasn't very long car started acting like it wasn't getting gas. Started backfiring and dieing. Had to limp to an O'Reilly and get some heavy duty fuel cleaner and was able to get 3 gallons in from a different gas station. Car started working right again after that. Shouldn't have used 3 gallons in that short of time, guess there was a lot of water in the fuel. ~Robert

Pay at the pump is screwed up , the dopey thing kept asking for membership card number ( I'm not a member ) and declining the transaction since I wouldn't enter my phone number . Listen , I already entered my zip code, that's all you're getting . I gave up after six failed attempts and went to Flying J. Over complicated mess at the pump , and I noticed several other customers at the pumps struggling to make a invasive interogatory work. Fix it , Casey , nobody got time for a twenty question quiz. ~Michael

I have been to this location numerous times and the store is always clean and nicely organized. The reason for this review today is to mention Anthony. I believe he works overnights on the weekends. I really just wanted to emphasize how much he goes above and beyond for every single customer that walks through the doors. I have observed him being kind, patient and efficient. Even when he is the only employee working he is able to be multitask and ensure every customer gets what they need and is taken care of. Tonight there were multiple customers in the store and he patiently answered every persons questions and served us all without making us feel rushed or like an inconvenience. Every time I am in there I appreciate his level of customer service. I feel that customer service is often not what it used to be so it is very refreshing to know that every time I enter that store I will be met with service that goes above and beyond what is expected. So, thank you Anthony and the entire team at store #0480 for bringing excellent customer service and allowing me to leave with a smile and a great cup of coffee! ~Beth

My Kum & Go is located at Grand & Glenstone. I'm usually hitting this place up right as I'm getting off work, and on my way home. I'm usually past exhausted and not feeling so friendly too say the least. These guys on the night shift never let me down! By the time I'm done checking out, I'm grinning getting ear to ear. They always and I do mean always, have kind & encouraging words to give me. They always recognize me and acknowledge me when I walk through the door. And that just keeps me coming back here time after time! I mean who don't live a compliment!?!? Go check them out for yourself! You're going to see what I'm talking about! 🤓🤓🤓 ~Lesa

Great place normally but I came in at 1:26 to buy a simple can of %% drink and the dude took his sweet time on his phone till 1:30ish and said I couldn't buy it...I understand its "policy" but really? I wish he wasn't sticking his face onto his phone so I couldn't have wasted my gas after work to get a drink ~fly

I had ran into Dollar general for a couple things obviously that never works in my favor. The little girl that help me and answered so many questions for me her name was Emma and she was so freaking sweet she helped me, she answered questions I had about an item and smiled the whole time. These are the type of places that I like to go I don't like cranky I don't like rude and so far today every place I've been have been great adventures. High kudos Emma, and Dollar General you did a great job hiring her. ~Angela

Well it's about like any Dollar General you've been before. There doing good keep a 6' distance from eachother. The cashier was very friendly. But everytime I go in there to get pop there always out. Thats why only a 3 star rating. ~Christina

Not about Pizza! Very disgusted. I went in and made a purchase. I had my service animal with me at the time. I got to my car and realized I could use a bit more water for him so I took a cup of my own in and asked about getting water. She says .52 cents. OMG, anything to gouge the public. This may NOT be at all Casey's but it certainly was for this location! I did not pay this, I left the place! I'm first off a paying customer and could have easily gone into the bathroom and got the water for free! Go to Kum and Go when possible, they care about their customers! Once an employee grabbed a cup of ice and water for my service animal after I'd made a purchase of water but needed a cup, now that's customer service and a company that deserves my business! ~Rachelle
