13 Best pizza restaurant in Austin, Texas (TX) 2024

Just wanted to give an updated review because this place has improved tremendously. The workers have great customer service & the cooks do a great job making the food. I ordered pizza, breadsticks & wings today & everything was yummy. The new manager here is doing a great job, keep it up. Old review: this location is just inconsistent. I ordered pepperoni hand tossed pizza and the crust was extremely thin and way too crispy, the cheese looked over cooked. Look honestly if you’re looking for a decent pizza chain place in the area just hit up dominos on Cameron, it’s right down the road. Previous Review: ordered here again 6/11/19 and the pizza/wings were actually good. The food was delivered ahead of schedule and the delivery guy was nice. The only issue I had was no one answered the phone, I had to order it online. I’ll be ordering here again soon and hope the service/food will be just as good again. Previous review: Um.. I order from this place a ton, idk what happened last night but my pizza was really weird. Random chunks of bread missing and random slices of pineapple. I ordered a pepperoni pizza with jalapeños.. It kind of looked like they accidentally cooked it with pineapples and took them off at the end... it honestly looked like it was dropped too I'm hoping it wasn't.. I was given store credit, I appreciate that but this was just a weird experience. I added photos of the gross pizza, idk how they could expect me to eat that. Not ordering here for a while now.. I have both ordered as carry out and delivery. Ordering inside is a breeze and I always add a tip even though I'm the one delivering my pizza. And the app is super easy and I really like adding the tip to the total so I don't have to have money at the door to awkwardly tip the driver. The workers in the store are always friendly and hand over your order with a smile. And did I mention the food? I always get the pan pizza and it's incredible. I also get the cinnamon twists with icing, also amazing. I've just never had a problem with them. Definite five stars. ~Philip

Greatest deal 5.99 each (select items) when u buy 2 or more...TAKEOUT ONLY!! Can't call in order, can't order online for deal; must walk in to order and wait, but only 10-15minutes. I get 2medium 2 topping pizzas and order of lava cakes all under $20!! ~Jen

Ordered a 5$ hot n ready pizza online for pick up. lobby is closed so I had to wait for the drive-through and waited for over an hour (only because I couldn’t back up or get out of line)and there’s only one person working inside I felt sorry for this young kid having to do it all but The drive-through window has broken glass, there’s homeless people standing up in front asking for money, not the safest area and the drive-through voice box doesn’t work and then uses a hand written sticker that says please pull up to the window ~Heidi

One of the best place to have super good pizza and cheap all around! The buffet has several different kinds of pizza, pasta, cinnamon rolls, etc! Employees are always super friendly and nice. ~James

I just received the best customer service at this little Caesars. A young woman in the front managed to get my order ready, prepare food for the guest in line behind me, and had a great attitude! She was so helpful and even asked if I wanted an extra bag or napkins despite how busy she was. I will come back to this little Caesars again because the customer service was so good! I hope upper management notices this employee for her hard work. ~Sophie

Overpriced Digiorno's. This was awful. Their tracker said they were 'prepping' the pizza for nearly 40 minutes. When it arrived, it was all slopped together, cold, and undercooked. It also arrived 20 minutes after the tail end of their estimated arrival. This location is trash. ~Lee

I've ordered from this location numerous times and each time the service has been great, the food has been great and I haven't any issues with anything. Also, not really busy either. I'm usually in and out pretty quickly. There has been a drifter here and there panhandling but haven't had any issues there either. ~Robert

Pizza was undercooked and overcooked at the same time? This has been several experiences at this location. Was trying to give it a few shots and disappointed me several times. Hope your experience is better than mine! ~Bri

DoubleDave's Pizzaworks offers tasty pizza made with delicious and fresh ingredients. My family and I ordered two pizzas for pickup. We ordered one build-your-own with seasoned steak, artichoke hearts, garlic spinach, and mushrooms. The other was a margherita pizza. Both surely did not disappoint. For starters, the pizza was piping hot and smelled amazing when we picked it up. The interior of the restaurant look clean, casual, and calm so I definitely wouldn't mind dining in next time. As for the pizza, their original crust had a great texture, it was not too thick or thin, and it was not soaked in grease like many other pizza places. All the toppings were phenomenally delicious and fresh. Both pizzas were packed with flavor and I didn't feel like trash after eating it as I usually do with normal pizza restaurants. You can't go wrong with DoubleDave's Pizzaworks and I would definitely come back to try more pizza combinations and other specialty pizza items! ~Kyla
