6 Best auto repair shop in McKinney, Texas (TX) 2024

Came for an alignment and 2 tire balance. I am a mechanic, but do not have an expensive alignment rack. They were trying to tell me I needed new tires after looking at them from 100yards away (in the parking lot). I did not need tired. They will try to get you to upgrade/buy all kinds of stuff you don't need. I came to pick up the vehicle and they said they could not find the wheel lock key. , so they never balanced the tires. The key was in the glove box where everyone keeps it. They charged $144, which is steep for an alignment. They never gave me the alignment sheet, to see where the alignment was and what they corrected it to. They could not provide this even upon request. ***HUGE RED FLAG*** I am not sure/don't have any proof that they actually did anything. I will be avoiding this place at all costs. ~marinelessons

Really great service. . .arrived on time for my appointment (the website was easy to use and set up a convenient time to visit), was welcomed and processed in quickly. While they said it would take 1 1/2 - 2 hours, it only took 45 minutes and the installing tech took time to explain what we could and couldn't do with the new windshield before we left. WELL, FOLKS WE HAVE USED THEM FOR MANY TIRES AND WHEELS, BALANCES ETC. I GAVE THEM A 3 BECAUSE THEY ARE VERY FAST BUT THE LAST 2 FULL SETS OF WHEELS AND TIRES WE SENT OVER HAVE COME BACK WITH TIRE TOOL MARKS IN THEM. NOW, THEY REPAIRED THE LAST ONE BUT TOLD US TO POUND SAND THIS TIME. I HAVE PROVIDED A PICTURE, THESE WHEELS WERE IN SEALED BOXES AND WRAPPED IN PLASTIC AND A FIBER ELASTIC BAG. EXCEPT 1 AND I OPENED THAT MYSELF. IN ANY CASE, PLEASE CHECK YOUR WHEELS AND TIRES BEFORE YOU LEAVE!!!!! ~PowerFlo

I had to take my 2004 Honda Pilot to Mike for a window motor replacement to lift window up and down. He fixed my window same day service!!!! I just had to have another window motor replaced on another window due to vehicle age. He replaced that one same day also. Very professional crew, and Mike is a gem. This was my first service at El Dorado Mazda. They far exceeded my expectations. First, before I scheduled the service, I sent an email with a question using the Contact Us form on the website. They called me back within 30 minutes and I had good conversation with a service advisor. Later I was able to schedule service same day at a convenient time and I was greeted promptly when I arrived. The advisor sent me a text so I could contact him if I needed anything. The waiting area was comfortable even though it’s a temporary site while the main facility is under renovation. They had bottled water, snacks and coffee, all free. I received a video report and a report card pdf. The service was completed in a reasonable amount of time. The whole experience was flawless. They definitely earned my continued business. ~J
