Look I understand that there are a ton of retail thieves rn. Every time I go shopping I witness someone walk out with a huge hamper or basket full of unpaid items.. They don't even flinch when staff try and stop them. And Ross has been no exception. However, this Ross in My Neighborhood, one that I help stay in in business with my decision to shop there during these challenging times, has become more and more unwelcoming and uncomfortable. While shopping just thus weekend after a gal walked out stealing a basket of clothes and Ross nick nacks- the store manager a younger long haired fellow became so rude. Told me it wasn't his problem when I explained I needed to grab my wallet I forgot in my car and asked if they could watch my items I had spent almost two hours picking out. When I returned less that 5 min later he had already set everything to be put back. That was over 300 in items that the store lost when you would think they would be thankful for paying customers. ~Britt

This Express location is fantastic. Not only do they have a great selection (bigger and better than Tigard), but the service really blew me away. Elsa, the store manager, was super kind and beyond helpful -- on the phone when I called to ask if they had a certain thing and when I was in store shopping and asking for different sizes and colors. My partner went in to shop without me the next day and she was super nice and helpful to him, and even remembered me once they started talking. All the other employees were super friendly and accommodating as well; great customer service is a sign of good management. I live a little closer to the Tigard location but the experience here is *absolutely* worth the few minutes of extra driving time AND the 6.5% sales tax. ~C

Staff was super friendly and helpful. There were at least 3 ladies on shift and each one took time to greet us and then offered assistance or struck up a conversation. They took time to allow us to test perfume samples (carefully spritzing paper strips so they wouldn't affect other customers with allergies or scent sensitivities.) They did mention their 50% off sale on closeout rack, but I felt in my opinion that even at such a good discount the prices were just a little too high for comfort. I did end up purchasing a total of three items elsewhere in the store though, two shirts and a bottle of perfume. While Torrid probably won't be my daily clothes shopping store, it will definitely be my splurge store. ~LynnD

I'll admit that after all the horror stories I've heard about different wedding tailors it was pretty scary to surrender my special dress for alterations but I'm so glad I trusted Vickie with it! My dress had a cathedral train with extensive appliqués and beading and she did an absolutely lovely job with hemming it, as well as doing copious amounts of seamless repairs to the netting since it was a secondhand dress. Because it was so heavy, the dress hung really heavily on my shoulders and instantly gave me a rash when I put it on, but Vickie found a solution that allowed me to wear the dress for my entire wedding day with zero issues. I really appreciated the level of experience she had and her competitive pricing. ~Tabi
