I went in to order 2 shirts for a wedding ended up buying 4 shirts,2 pair of jeans and 2 bars of soap. Staff extremely helpful. And pleasant to deal with especially the Romanian sales lady.willdef be going back soon.

Bryan helped my friend and I on multiple occasions to get my friend fitted for his suit for my wedding. Bryan was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and fun to be around. He even sold my friend another suit and completely styled it for him! He made the whole process smooth and efficient. Definitely recommend having him help anyone get a suit!

This is my favorite Jos A Bank store. I’ve worn Bank’s dress clothes to work for decades and now my wife and I are outfitting our son for his new job in Manhattan. The associates know their product well. The store is well stocked and orderly. The staff are the stores main asset. They provide the level of service once expected in fine independent men’s stores. I drive a little further to the Frederick store because the service here is so far superior to my experiences at the closer Jos A Bank Store in Columbia, MD. My thanks to the kind associate who helped me return a jacket today. My wife ordered the jacket online for my son and it could not be altered to fit him. The lady who helped me was as friendly as if I were making a big purchase. This level of customer service is how the Frederick Jos A Bank store earned and maintains my loyalty.

My wife and I went in the store for the first time and we really liked the place. We purchased a pair of shoes but when I asked if they did military discount the sales lady laughed with a condescending tone. I will never shop there again.

Used to be better. Multiple repeated mistakes this time made for an extremely frustrating experience. I was ordering 2 suits, 1 sport coat, 2 pants, and 3 shirts. The store had 2 addresses listed for my account, neither of which were correct. I asked them to remove those addresses and enter my correct address. They were going to ship a couple items to my house. Fast forward a few weeks, and my suits have arrived, and I go in to have the pants cuffs measured. I ask about the shipped items, and they say that they have already been delivered to me. It turns out that they didn’t correct my address and sent the items to the wrong address. I ask for them to have the items held at the store for me to pick them up there. The next day, I get an email saying that they are shipping the items to my correct address instead, despite my asking them not to. When I go to pick up my suits, one of the pants isn’t done correctly, having been done plain hemmed instead of cuffed. I still haven’t received the items that were supposed to be shipped, and the tracking number says they haven’t even been picked up yet to be sent. On top of it, despite all of these mistakes, the store never offered any discounts, coupons, or anything else to make up for how bad the experience was. Personally, I recommend other stores for better and more reliable customer service.

There were three amazing ladies at this store who were more than accommodating for my sons suit. I cannot express how thankful we are to those amazing women who helped us just a few hours before my sisters wedding. Without them he would have had to wear a completely different suit than the rest the party! Then when we returned his shirt(he is 4) so there was a few Cheetos marks but they worked with us and made it all work out when returning his shirt at no cost! I mean they were perfection! Thank you ladies so much!

Had a invite to go to a wedding and had 24 hrs to look good. Been a long time for a suit. Called Jos A. Bank talked with Laura and explained the need and timeframe. Showed up that evening. She was very helpful in picking out a suit and all the trimmings. Picked up the tailored suit the next day and needless to say I was complemented many times of the attire and overall dashing appearance. Thanks Laura at the Frederick Md location for your attention, expertise and friendly service.

Terrible experience. I was given the run-around on getting my custom pants fixed after a seam ripped. Frustrated, I drove all the way to the Westminster location and they fixed my seam with no problems or issues. I only go to the Westminster location now ( even though it's about 15 minutes further from where I live). Better service and better selection.

I had a sudden job interview and needed a suit within 24 hours. I have never purchased one before, so I did not know what to expect. I was immediately helped when I walked inside. I am grateful for the staff going the extra mile to help me make the right impression on an important day. Wearing a well fitted suit is a great feeling!

Never shopped here before but stopped by to check out their advertised sale. We had an absolute great experience with our sales person Linden Bohrer. I ended up buying 2 suits and on our salesman's suggestion ended up buying shirts and ties as well. We were impressed by Mr. Bohrer's high level of professionalism, customer service and attention to detail. In fact we commented later in the car that this might become our new favorite place to shop. Spent just under $900 in the store when it was all said and done. The problem came after the sale. I was called to say the alterations were finished (a day ahead of schedule). Went to try the newly tailored items on and found a couple of issues. Both jackets were rolling and puckering at the neck. The person helping us said he would get the seamstress to examine the issue. For whatever reason, everyone in the store ended up being involved in the discussion. I found this not only to be totally unnecessary, but to be somewhat embarrassing being the star of the show for the evening. Everyone also was quick to blame my undershirt for the issue. So I took my undershirt off and tried both jackets and the issue was even worse. Everyone kept pushing and tugging at the area of concern saying "there, it is laying down now". But when I would walk or move it would still bunch up. It was like the staff was arguing with me and it really made me upset. One employee really kept trivializing my concerns. The seamstress said that it could be fixed but another employee second guessing her said the bottom of the jacket would look uneven. And even thought I agreed to go ahead with the fix it left me wondering how it will look. I guess that I am feeling like since I am the customer, I should be happy and OK with my purchase, not argued with or made to feel like my concerns are trivial. I left the store thinking about the positive experience that I started out with and and how foolish of me it was to think that. I would think twice before ever shopping there again.
