They consistently do not carry items that are in the promotional booklets each month. Store is not organized well at times. Only 1 person working deli counter so you stand there for 25 minutes waiting to get served.

The gas prices and the shorter lines is the number one best thing about bjs. I also like the ability to order online for pickup outside. Fantastic. The only reason I deducted a star is the staff at the front door is terrible. A bit too rude and they touch all your items. It feels violating after I specifically shop and cash myself out so I'm avoiding extra touch points.

Got everything I need. Went up to the self checkup. It asked me for a BJ's card. I'm not a member. So I followed the on-screen prop and the picture of a BJ's card. The on-screen prompt was completely unresponsive. I was thinking I'd be able to purchase my BJ's card through following on screen prompts. This was not the case. I pressed it a few more times just to make sure I didn't press it firmly enough but nothing happened. I looked around for a little bit. No one came to my assistance. I promptly left my things at the self checkout in. Just decided that this experience wasn't worth the BJ membership card. If you want people to spend $100 on a membership card replacing cashiers with self checkouts. Probably a bad way to go about it.

I like shopping at BJs, they typically have what I need and at great prices. However, on the weekends the lines get long, like to the back of the store long. They usually have few registers open but all self checkout open. They need to increase staffing so you don’t have to wait 20 minutes to check out. I don’t know if this is a staffing issue because sometimes I see 5 employees standing at customer service talking and doing nothing but then sometimes there’s only one person at customer service struggling to make a return and 8 people in line. Also please return the scan gun to the self checkouts. It takes so long to empty the cart and then repack when you could scan everything and leave it in the cart.

Self check out is the worst. Please don't shop at places that have majority self check out. Also I didn't sign up for a wholesale club to clip/electronically clip coupons. Totaly weak. Trying Cosco next. Hope they have cashiers and no coupons! If they do then I guess ill help Amazon put them out of business.

Every time I go to this location they are out of Toilet Paper. I know supposedly we have an shortage on paper towels, but every time I go in, which is about every two weeks they are out. I even try to call before hand so I do not have to make an unnecessary trip, they do not pick up their phone. Which I feel is disturbing, you are a company, why is it so difficult to pick up a phone. Am I the Only one that feels this way?

Poor communication. I spoke to customer service about propane, I arrive and I’m told there’s no propane. If you run out of something , make sure all your employees to avoid customers driving out of their way for no reason.

Typically like to shop here. The variety is pretty decent even during the pandemic. Visited the store yesterday and as we were leaving the woman checking receipts gave me and my boyfriend an attitude. We had to wait in the one register open with a person attending to it, then the woman checking the receipt tried to say we didn't buy our bubba burgers in our cart, she "couldn't find them" on our receipt. I looked quickly at it and with all the abbreviations I couldn't find them either but I know they got paid for. She finally let us go with an attitude still. Found them on the receipt when I got to the car. I can understand if we paid in the line where you scan your own groceries, but we waited for awhile for an actual person to ring us up. We didn't deserve the receipt police and now my boyfriend doesn't want to return to your establishment. You should really start thinking about how you treat your patrons that spend hundreds of dollars every time they shop in your store.

I have been a BJs member for at least twenty years. I went to the Danvers, Massachusetts store yesterday and the security guard was very rude in telling me that I should take a few steps back and stay outside the covered area of the store. It was quite a large space and he was sitting alone comfortably shouting at people for no reason. Total demonstration of not knowing how to deal with the public. I went to buy Lactaid for my wife and didn't find it. I returned today, Saturday, May 2 at 8:30 am the product was not on the shelf, but in the warehouse. I asked the manager for three gallons and very grudgingly he gave me one. I ordered three and there are no limits for this product. Solution? Break the card and use Costco, I am also a partner and expect better treatment.

Who doesn't love BJ's? Great prices and selection. I love the roasted chicken you can get for $5 at the deli. So good! The deli guys always give my son a free sample!
