What is annoying about this location is the so-called discretion used for the postage required. Postal service should be uniform wherever you go.

Box size limit for my country on usps website: Maximum length and girth combined: 108 inches but the person told me it’s: Maximum length and girth combined: 79 inches. Sir, just so you know Taiwan is a different place then Thailand. We tried to show you what your website says and you refused to even double check but said that your system said so. I’ve sent a box, bigger than the one you showed me today, to Taiwan in Christmas from USPS. 100% sure the size limit you told me was not correct. You took so much times measuring the box and told us to come back next time because you’re closing… I mean, the length and wide is literally shown on the box why are you measuring??????? Waste of time.

Based on years of using many different post offices, this is one of the best. Easy to get to. Big parking lot. A mailbox drop you can drive by without getting out. Spacious interior so even with a long line it doesn't block the other services. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Typically a good selection of regular first-class stamps.

Brian helped me out this morning and was very helpful despite me asking silly questions. When I finally came in Natalie was a SUPER STAR and very patient with my questions and guiding me when I was doing the forms wrong. There was a line going out the door and i was kot expecting such nice service. Pleasently surprised!!

Grossly incompetent, rude and uncaring. I watched this woman Ruth be extremely rude to every customer in front of me. Then lucky me, it was my turn. She told me to take out the item I was ready to ship, put it in a USPS box and use their tape to tape it, because she claimed it would be cheaper. 10 minutes later and after waiting in line again, it’s the same exact price! This woman needs extensive training, especially in the customer service domain. People like her are the reason why USPS is doing so badly.

They’re always helpful. The lines are only long when they are helping people who didn’t know how to ship something or how much shipping costs. For the area, this USPS and Salem’s USPS have been my favorite ones to use. I ship all the time. Thank you to all of the employees who work so hard. I will say I’ve been to 2 other smaller facilities in area towns that employees weren’t at their posts and one was rude, but never at this USPS. I drive a few towns over to get the quality service here.

I paid $15 for them to take my passport photo for me so that I didn’t have to worry about it. Well I just got an email from the US Passport Agency saying that my photo doesn’t meet the requirements because the photo is too bright and you can’t clearly see my features well enough. The employees should know how to take an acceptable passport photo. I paid the extra money for the convenience; and now I have to go out of my way to print my own photo and send it to the passport agency myself by mail. Very frustrating.

For a Peabody government office, they’re actually great in there. Usually it’s a pretty quick wait, and whenever it’s long, they usually have 3 people working the desk, rather than one person dealing with everyone. I went in today, and the clerk helped me deliver two packages, although the address was unclear for one, so he tried to troubleshoot it, and ended up advising I double check the address to make sure I had it right. Good stuff.
