This place is my go-to for making my face look “put together!” It’s that finishing touch of well shaped brows and less facial hair that I have come to love. The women who perform the services are friendly and quick, and of utmost importance to me, consistent. I took a break from this for about three years during my divorce and Covid, and started coming again last month, and it just makes me feel so feminine and polished and now I’ll be here every three weeks till the end of time. Everyone there is so nice and welcoming! She worked a miracle on my eyebrows after I tried doing them at home which didn’t work out for me. I’m so happy with my eyebrows which means a lot coming from me because I’m super picky. Trust me they work miracles!!!!

While I feel terrible giving such a low review, I feel slightly responsible to issue out a warning. The Beauty Bar is wonderful at threading and tinting however, look elsewhere for lash extensions. I got my lashes done last Wednesday. I could deal with the way they looked but the following day, I was in awful pain. I went elsewhere to have my lashes removed and redone. I was told by my new lash technician that the lashes put on my eyes by the beauty bar, are similar to a brand I could purchase on my own at Walmart or CVS. They use “cluster lashes” which is a service typically provided for under $50 (the lashes feel like plastic on your eyes). I was met with complete shock when I told them I paid $150. The real kicker was how the lashes were applied. The lashes were glued, with thick, black glue (not compatible with cluster lashes) directly to my eyelids. This is what was causing me so much pain. It took my new tech nearly 2 hours to remove them. In all fairness, I have not asked The Beauty Bar for a refund, as I was told three times during my visit that they do not issue refunds. I definitely should have taken this as a red flag. Protect your eyes, save yourself some serious discomfort and go to a place that specializes in this service. They also moved locations in the mall they are by Spencer’s and that cookie stand if you know what I mean. Love love it there! Sunita is THE girl to go to!! I absolutely love her and won’t go anywhere else. Her and the rest of the staff are so kind and extremely professional. I have been coming to the beauty bar since I was in high school(~8 years now), and any time a friend would take me elsewhere I would hate the results. However, every time I go in to the beauty bar, I come out feeling so pretty. They always make you feel very important and are super friendly/caring despite how busy they can get. The work they do is absolutely jaw dropping, everyone comes out looking absolutely beautiful! 100% recommend the beauty bar for all your beauty care needs, the vibes there are impeccable. I love getting my eyebrows threaded and tinted here, the color is always spot on and looks very natural. They even ask you how dark or light you want your color, so you always get the exact look you want. I just got lash extensions for the first time and they look great! Sunita put a lot of careful attention into the work she did and it turned out beautiful. I got the ‘natural look’ which you can see in the photos. There are other options if you want them longer or more full. Everything is absolutely painless and looks awesome. You’ll regret going anywhere else but the beauty bar after you come here! Sunita is the absolute best beauty technician in Michigan, and her new store location in 12 oaks matches her beauty, absolutely flawless.
