The staff is very friendly and approachable. They were patient with my requests. They aren’t able to answer a ton of tech questions but they were willing to investigate. I needed a third phone for my third line that I use as a hotspot. The iPhone se works perfect- much better than the other cheaper options we tried and had to return for the iphone.

I wish I would have came to this location first, he was wonderful and helpful, he listened to my issues and got everything taken care of in less than 10 mins. I won't be recommending Tmobile by the mall to anyone I know!

Guys were helpful. Forced us to wear masks. Got the phone situation figured out, didn't explain things well or patiently. As soon as they rang us up, started looking at phone. Store is clean. Hopefully everything is set up right on my phone plan.

Michelle was so helpful with setting me up. Start to finish the process was smooth. I was able to keep my current phone number, all the info on my old phone transferred over to my new phone no problem. I even called ahead to make sure they had the phone i wanted. They held it for me no problem. The atmosphere in the store was fun and relaxing. The staff was laughing and making jokes while helping myself and other customers out. I have recommended this store to all my friends!

I have had T-Mobile for over 5 years. I recently moved to northern Michigan and was worried about coverage since I had heard it wasn’t the best. The Traverse City store was such a great help and I’m so glad I spoke with them! They explained my coverage and what to expect in the area and it’s been great! The staff was friendly, helpful, and informative! I prefer to deal with a person so I’m glad I have such a great store to talk with if I ever have any questions! I ❤️ T-Mobile!

We went there the night of Nov. 8th 2017 to simply get information about their service. We'd had T-Mobile years ago and since it was new in our area, decided to switch from AT&T. My s/o was sold the phones he said he didn't want, was told the service would be $30 less than it actually would be When the s/o left the store, he thought he'd gotten the LG V20, which was going for the buy-one-get-one sale, and actually had said he didn't want the LG V30. Getting the wrong phones alone was going to heft the price up to $60 per month ($30 per phone for 2 phones), then there was to be the Elite service and one regular service (which for 2 senior citizens would be $65 per month). The $60 charge for the two LG phones was right there in writing in the paper work. When the s/o went back into the store to ask what was going on, the sales rep insisted again that the monthly charge would be $95 per month. I don't know what kind of voodoo math these guys are using, but in my world 65 and 60 pretty much adds up to 125. The s/o had to go back into the store this morning, and was among others needing to talk to the manager. When he told them he wanted to void the sales and return merchandise he didn't ask for, he was told she couldn't do it because only the manager was able to do that and that person was out for the day. The s/o works out of town and isn't able to just pop into the store whenever the manager or other qualified personal decide to show up to take care of the running of their store. The sales rep took the two LG phones back and supposedly canceled the entire account, but we're still out our $300 as of this review. At least he was able to get the sales rep to note in writing that they got the phones back. The s/o was told that, despite having the phones in our possession for less than 24 hours, we'd have to pay a restocking fee. I consider it money well spent for a solid lesson learned for doing business with T-Mobile. To recap: 1) Was sold a phone he said he didn't want. 2) There was a lot of fast talking going on, but the s/o asked several times what the bottom line monthly charges would be, and never got a straight or correct answer. 3) Went back into the store to ask if the monthly charge was indeed $95 and was assured that it was. The only logical explanation I can come up with is that they weren't counting the charge for the phones? If that is so, buyer beware if you're asking how much a monthly payment would be. Update: Nov. 10, 2017. S/o returned to T-Mobile Traverse City Mi. store and was able to talk to the manager, who informed him that no, the service had not been cancelled as previously stated. He was further told that he had to call customer service to do that, which was NOT what the sales rep said. Supposedly the service is now cancelled, but given reviews I've read about T-Mobile, I'm not going to rest until I know beyond doubt that it is in fact cancelled.

The manager (Karl) and Celeste in the TVC store are just flat out dishonest people. They well understand that Northern Michigan coverage is marginal in rural locations. But they have to sell you anyway, hence the lack of honesty with the customer. Went to Traverse City with my parents to initiate service in Bear Lake MI. Solid service from Karl (Manager) and Michelle who set us up with 2 iPhone 8's for the price of 1. Also converted me from Sprint on my iPhone X, and away we go back home. The phones didn't work in Bear Lake. Drove back to Traverse City (90 miles round trip) and Michelle adjusted the settings, and asked us to try again. Still didn't work in Bear Lake. Called customer support (again) and they stated that everything was setup correctly and wait til 6pm. Still didn't work. Called customer support again, and stated wait another 12 hours and it would "port over". The problem wasn't "porting" as we had data and texting, and when I was in Traverse City (where there is TMobile signal) the phones worked fine. Took the phones back to TMobile 7 days after purchase and they charged my parents a $106 re-stocking fee for phones that don't work in Bear Lake. Spoke with Celeste who only wanted to argue for 10 minutes that TMobile works well in Bear Lake, they just couldn't get it to work on any of our 3 phones, hence the re-stocking fee. Asked her why TMobile couldn't get it to work on any of our 3 phones after 4 days of trying. She had no idea. Asked Karl (Manager) to call me. No call back. The good news: after explaining the situation to TMobile corporate, they refunded the $106 in about 5 minutes. But the Traverse City store: we spent 10 minutes arguing about our lack of phone service vs. their fine service in Bear Lake. Celeste stated that the store, even at the manager level, is powerless to waive the re-stocking fee, and the real problem is due to the TMobile corporate policy that hamstrings the stores. The manager (Karl) still hasn't called me back. Surprisingly, I like TMobile service and what I see so far. But the TRAVERSE CITY TMobile? STAY AWAY!!!!
