They are so disrespectful and my husbands company rents from them. We had to fix and replace wipers and do fluids cause wipers were bad and couldn't see out window and snow couldn't wipe off and the fluids were pretty much empty and both vehicles were 2021. Both vehicles are not meant to be driven in the winter time, proper tires need to definitely invest in some tires that work with ice and snow because it's Minnesota. We had to find the proper battery for the key fob and replace that, one wiper had to be replaced because it was unusable, couldn't see out the window. Very unprofessional, not a"hello" or anything like that. A very rude customer service team they have there. Though my husband works for a company that rents from them, he has discussed the possibly to seek other car places to rent from.

Avis does not perform basic maintenance on their vehicles or pay for maintenance at their recommended location. I’m talking about the brakes, the most basic and most important kind of maintenance. Stay away and learn the hard lesson I did. They got me, but you can prevent them from getting you. The location also never added insurance/LDW each week even though I implored them to and verified with each interaction that it was definitely on there. Was it on my account when I accessed the app, even though it was on my contract? No. The regional manager of this Minneapolis area was very unprofessional and would not even let me talk. Stay clear. What you pay for is what you shall receive.

I had a very nice guy named "MS" who was the agent who assisted with our reservation. He was very polite yet welcoming. I recommend him very highly. He made our stay in Minneapolis hassle free and quick. As well as the Check In team who were very quick to check me in. Thank you ALL!

I returned a Nissan Versa Sunday July 25th around 6:30pm to 7pm. The branch was closed. But I left the keys inside the car's locked. First they claimed I was not there. Finally until I mention I had photos they finally admitted they could see me dropping off the car on the security footage. I've called other local Avis branches, and they have all mentioned they would have called the police as of now if a vehicle was dropped off and went missing. That is the protocol, to file a police report. It's been over a week of me trying to get them to do so yet they won't. So I find it HIGHLY suspicious they would claim the vehicle nor I were there originally. But now they are still hesitant and reluctant to call the police fully knowing i was there dropping it off. I don't know what is going on or what they are trying to hide, but I don't trust it anymore. If a vehicle is supposedly missing you report it to the police. Why won't you guys report it to the police? I'm documenting this here. It's been over a week and you guys are still being dragged to do so, why? Call the police and report it. I have nothing to hide. I want everything to be transparent.

Absolute worst experience with a car rental in my relatively short 30 years of existence. I have never experienced a company so adverse to taking my money than Avis, and specifically the incompetent owner that runs this place. Pre covid it would’ve been a miracle this place stayed open, post covid it must be a sign of the apocalypse for a company that seemingly exists only to torture us, a veritable hell on earth.

The convenience and price makes this a 5-star review. I love that I can reserve online without a credit card for lower prices than other competitors that require that you pay in advance. I appreciate that I can pick up away from the airport without all of the headache and without having to pay all of the added costs tacked on to airport rentals. I have rented here now at least 5 times in the last year and have never had more than one person in front of me in line; 5-10 minute wait at most. Staff are friendly and professional. There are only a few small areas of improvement: the car could be a smidge cleaner on the inside and later hours would be a bonus. But for my frequent business travel, this place is a win-win for me in many ways!
