Oksana was amazing!!! I have struggled so much with my hair in the past and had a not so reputable salon use splat! She managed to get the splat out and give me an amazing dye Job! I’ve been back to her several times since for styling and cuts. She’s definitely my go to. The salon is always clean and the people are extremely friendly. If I could give ten stars I would!! I’ll never trust this salon with my hair again. I came in for a touch up on my platinum hair. I had it done initially elsewhere but came to smart style for a touch up as it was much closer to my home. Despite quoting me $80 by phone for the touch up (which meant bleaching my new growth at the roots and a toner) they then quoted me $120 when I came in. They left the bleach on way longer than any other salon I’ve been to, to the point that it was painful. When they finally took it off and applied the toner, my hair was bright yellow. They actually tried to say it was because I’m “too sensitive” and they had to take the bleach off “early” - despite it being on there way longer than anyone else has ever put it. They told me to come back the next day to get it corrected. Another session of bleach and toner and while slightly improved my hair is still yellow. Aside from the roots (dark blonde) my hair was nearly white when I came in. Now it’s all yellowy but especially at the roots. All of it feels dry and gross. They assured me that if I used the purple shampoo they recommended over the next week that it would be better. I did get that shampoo. Imagine my surprise when I went to pay for my hair dye and they said it was actually going to be $170 (hair cut not included). That’s double what the far more professional salon I went to previously charged me for a much better service and result! I did what they said to do with the purple shampoo over a week with no results. When I called in they told me they can’t correct the color because it will be too damaging and because it’s been a week they won’t offer a refund for me to fix it elsewhere. I waited a week because that’s what they told me to do! Now it’s two weeks later and my hair is only marginally better, still very yellow. If I wanted yellow hair I could have done a DIY kit at home for $10, and not paid $170. This whole experience has been absolutely infuriating and the customer service response to them totally screwing up my hair has been unsympathetic, unhelpful, and frankly awful. NEVER get your hair done at smart style if you want it done by competent people who will charge you fairly (or even what they tell you up front they are charging you). I wish there was an option for a zero star rating. UPDATE: Reference the owner comment below stating they would "address the issues." That was several weeks ago, and no one has contacted me to resolve anything. They have ignored every attempt to find a solution including a claim with BBB. Service: Hair coloring

I left there alright with my new hair style but quickly realized that the reason the stylist curled my hair was because she messed up the layers. The back if my head now looks like a toddler got to it with scissors and now I am stuck with my hair like this while it grows out. After spending the last few years growing it out its now ruined.

i went in with my little one couple days ago. and oksana stagner did a great job with her hair. my little asked me to get her a curling iron and the lady since she had spare time waiting on next people to come in offered to curl her hair. she said she was the new owner there. bare with them as they as well as many other places are short staffed. long hair before cut and curled after. Its now 10:40 am still waiting on someone to arrive for my 10:30 appointment!!! I have been working 6 days a week and loved the thought of getting my color & cut done on a Sunday morning. Planned on buying products as well, but your loss. Do not suggest this place at all !! When I made my appointment my phone number was left in case there was a problem right??? Unsatisfied non-customer.

I had my eyebrows there less than a week ago and had to pluck them myself, yes I have blonde hair but not the point. If you pay for something you want it done right. What is the point of having them waxed if I just had to pluck them myself. Waste of money....
